  • Telescopic Polearm: Allows the hilt of the lightsaber to transform instantaneously from a two-handed hilt, into a lengthy polearm, converting the typical single-blade lightsaber into a lightsaber pike instead.
  • Lignan Crystal: Produces a stronger blade that burns hotter than blades manifested by other lightsaber crystals, which in turn allows the blade to cut more quickly as well. The crystal also enhances a Dark Side Force user's Force abilities.
  • Bifurcating Cyclical-Ignition Pulse: Amends the common fault of a lightsaber to short out due to the effects of water.
  • Dual-Phased: Weapon has been designed with two preset blade lengths which change with the changing of the weapon from traditional lightsaber to lightsaber pike. The blade becomes shorter when transitioned from the traditional form into the form of a lightsaber pike.

  • Strength Lies First in the Foundation: The use of Songsteel in the construction of the weapon's hilt provides added protection and integrity to the housing of the weapon. The hilt can withstand a number of strikes from lightsabers and other weaponry before faltering and becoming compromised.
  • Do for Me as I Have Done for You: The choice of crystal for the weapon's construction offers its wielder certain complimentary effects such as enhancement of the wielder's Force Abilities should they be a practitioner of the Dark Side of the Force.
  • Blazing Hunger: The blade of this weapon burns hotter that others, allowing the blade produced to last longer and cut more quickly and easily through object and/or people caught within its path.
  • Versatility is Paramount: The innate ability of this weapon to transform for a typical lightsaber into a lightsaber pike instantaneously at its Master's command, makes it an adaptive and versatile weapon. The ability to change from one form to another without a lengthy and/or complex reassembly process, makes it so its wielder is harder to read in combat, not knowing whether one will be facing the unconventional range of a pike or the agile nature of a typical lightsaber. Further, the polearm of the weapon can double as a blunt weapon or be used in defense of a melee strike.
  • Fear Not the River: Since the weapon was designed Korvis' tendencies find himself in the water recreationally, or otherwise, the weapon has been outfitted with a Bifurcating Cyclical Ignition Pulse to protect the weapon from the shorting effects incurred by water.

  • Complexity at its Utmost: Due to the nature of this weapon being exotic in design, it is a highly difficult weapon to use effectively, much less master. Without knowing the intricacies of the weapon, one is liable to do just as must harm to themselves as they might to their adversary.
  • Cortosis, My Old Friend: Just as with any other lightsaber, cortosis has the ability to short out and deactivate the blade of the weapon.
  • Speak Softly and Carry a Big Stick: While the sentiment is true in a number of ways, the size of the hilt of this weapon requires its wielder to use two hands into order to properly control the weapon. It is largely unwieldly, even in its traditional lightsaber state to use effectively with just a single hand upon its hilt.
  • Leave the Lavishness at Home: Because of this weapon's design, it would not be overly effective to wield it in flowing and elaborate lightsaber forms such as Ataru and instead would require thrust and shorter, more precise and deliberate strikes to be effective.

While Korvis stepped away from the Jedi Order in his youth, forsaking the first lightsaber he ever constructed under his Master within that Order, he would not be able to find himself forever away from the Force and its teachings. Only this time, however, he found himself at the behest of the Sith. Not by his own intention, but rather a string of circumstances that put his self-preservation instinct into full effect. It was under this new instruction, an instruction he never desired in his life again after fleeing from the first Order that had inducted him, that he found himself once again forging a weapon that marked the members of the never-ending war that seemingly spanned the entire lifetime of the Galaxy and would like last until the Galaxy itself was no more. A day to come well after his little slice of insignificance had come and gone.

It was through his experiences within both Orders of Force practitioners, those of the Light and those of the Dark, along with his own sense of uniqueness, that the man from Adumar, who had long run from his problems rather than face them, designed the weapon in the way he did. A simple, yet complex reflection of the war that waged in his own subconscious made into a reflection through the very weapon he had constructed. A weapon that could be one thing or another, just as he found himself jostled between the Light and the Dark. The Sith and the Jedi. The ceaseless feud that had spanned millennia. A similar struggle gripping at his very being and soul.
