STRENGTHS
+Warrior-Born: Being raised in the ancient ways of the Taung, Korath is a natural warrior. He favors the sensation of melee, but is not above using blasters if it means superiority in a combat. Like other Mandalorians, he is very much a fighter.
+Primal Biology: Taung like Korath inherit the physical traits that made their ancestors so feared. He is far more durable than his human counterparts, and is equipped with clawed hands.
WEAKNESSES
-Prejudiced: Korath has certain prejudices. He views some groups of non-Mandalorians with suspicion, especially given how they have tended to create havoc with his culture. He is particularly vehement toward Sith, or any Force cult that bears similarity. He also has some distrust of non-Mandalorian humans, tending to call them "Zhell".
-Brutality: Having been born on the hostile world of Myrkr, Korath holds a reputation for brutality and bloodthirstiness that may make some view him little more than a savage.
PERSONALITY
Korath can come off as stern and blunt. Yet, he prides himself on his dedication to the Mandalorian Code, and to his honor. He is not without amusement, and is generally amicable to those he considers his ally. He is also the product of his surroundings and expeirences. He is hateful of certain groups that he sees as threats to the Mandalorian way of life. He was forged in the harshness of Myrkr, and meets these threats with primal brutality and vehemence.
BIOGRAPHY
Long ago, the Taung were a species that spear-headed the Mandalorian culture. They eventually grew thin in their species, and that they had seemingly became extinct from the Galaxy. Yet, some survived, and made their home in the mountains and underground of harsh Myrkr. It is from this ancient heritage that Korath Taakur was born. He was given a traditional Taung upbringing, learning to be a warrior and fighter. He was raised among the Bone Clan, or Aliit Taakur in the Taung's old language. When he turned the age of 13, he underwent his verd'goten, of which was a hunt on Myrkr's surface. He was unaided by any of his kinsmen, and he was to bring back a trophy from his kill. And so, he came home with tooth of a Myrkrian Snaggletooth Boar.
So his life was, going up in the traditions of the Taung. He served as a warrior for his clan, fighting in inter-clan wars or settling conflict through honor duels. It was not until that the Myrkrian Taungs were reunited with the rest of the Mandalorian people that Korath felt a calling. Under this new Mand'alor, he offered his blade to conquer their enemies.
And then, Hammerfall happened. The Sith, who had been the allies to the Mandalorians, betrayed their alliance. Manda'yaim and her colonies fell under the swift and terrible blade of the Sith Army. From this, Korath's rage burned. He fled with the survivors of the onslaught, and began preparing to reek terrible vengeance against the Sith. Gathering a small group of like minded individuals, he has taken small actions against the Sith. He now calls for his fellow Mandalorians to take up the fight with him.
