STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Bard Extraordinaire: Like the Bard of her Holonet channel's handle, Zee is good at singing, with a pleasant voice that she often uses in conjunction with her favorite musical instrument, the seven-string hallikset. She is good at getting along with people, and can make friends easily, which has helped her with self made career thus far.
"Useless" Degree / The Way Forward Is Sometimes The Way Back: Zee has a degree in history, mostly with a focus on the Force User wars, which she got before she discovered no one actually wants to give a non force user a job in history. (Do Jedi Historians even get paid?) However, it does make her a wealth of history trivia which can come in handy at trivia night at the local bar.
Independent Artist: Due to being unable to find someone willing to hire her as a historian, Zee is a self made artist, finding a way to forge her career like the independent artists before her: The Holonet! This includes writing blogs about historical topics she finds interesting, making/editing videos of her singing, and some level of business sense to somehow make a living off of it. The hustle is real though.
Flying Ain't Like Dusting Crops: She has no idea how to fly a ship, and is dependent on the whims of public transport schedule. That being said, she hasn't got the least idea about how to dust crops either. She's a city girl.
Helpless Civilian: While she might know the history of wars, she isn't actually any good in a physical fight. She normally hopes here pheromones can be used to cause enough of a distraction so she can run away, but if that doesn't work . . . . welp. Sucks to be her.
That's Not How Hacking Works: She knows enough about computers to edit her videos/podcasts. She was pretty proud of herself she managed to make a semi professional looking page for herself on the holonet, but she used a service to help her make that. If you want her to get into the code bits, she can't help you. Forget about physical hardware.
APPEARANCE:
Like many Falleen, Zee is a green reptilian humanoid, of medium height for her species, with short black hair that she has recently decide to dye the tips of. She isn't sure if she likes the look yet (finding a good hair dye that looks good with green skin and isn't expensive for upkeep is a bit of a pain). She is quick to smile, and even quicker to tell a joke, which people say make her approachable.
When performing, she often wears casual pants/blouse combo, or if she's in a classier establishment she would wear a black dress (not that has happened yet, most classy establishments don't opt for entertainment of a minor Holonet wannabe influencer whose shtick is "I like singing comedy songs about history set to contemporary songs"). Between performances, she often opts for pants, with a comfortable shirt/jacket combo.
BIOGRAPHY:
Zee has two great loves in life, history and music. Okay maybe it's more like, history, music, and comedy musical numbers about topics most people would find ridiculous, but that last one is a bit of a mouthful. After her state mandated education was completed, she decided to pursue a higher education in history, not realizing at the time that "hey, people don't always like paying people to examine the past." As a result, she had difficulty finding work in her chosen field, and ended up finding herself living a life of customer service. As a way to keep herself sane, she started writing comedic lyrics set to popular songs based on historical and political events, which, after some prompting from a friend, she started to preform at a local caf shop on their open mic nights. To her surprise, people found it funny. And so she did some reading on how to film and make your own videos, the basics of social media marketing on the holonet, and started uploading her videos twice a week. Over time that has expanded into a podcast (since apparently audio is the big thing these days) where she talks about topics of galactic history in a way she hopes is entertaining as well as educational. She manages to make a modest living off of it, and has decided to try and take her show on the space road to see the galaxy, and hopefully build her audience.
SHIP:
She has yet to find herself rolling in the Holonet Tube dough from her videos, so that's a hard no.
KILLS:
