Kidnapping the VC's Girlfriend? Well Aren't You Special.

Carliah Dakrone

Walking the Path to Redemption
Carliah was napping on the couch and her and Yusan's new apartment. Yusan was currently at his office in the Senate building, doing whatever it is he does when he's at work and had left Carliah home alone. She lay with one hand resting on her stomach, which was now bulging quite noticeably due to her being 5 months pregnant. She whined softly in her sleep.

Suddenly, the door to the apartment was flung open. Carliah managed to sleep through the sound of the door colliding with the wall but was jerked awake by the feeling of someone grabbing her. She tried to kick, or scream, or do something, but her attempts to escape were unsuccessful. She was being held with a vice-like grip. She felt something hard and heavy, likely a fist or a lightsaber hilt, collide with the back of her head before sinking into darkness, losing consciousness.

The assailant stood over Carliah's unconscious form, his body concealed by a cloaked covering a suit of phrik armor, and his head hidden behind the visor of a completely enclosed helmet. Around his neck sat a Sith medallion, which had been created with the purpose to cloak the wearer's signature in the force, rendering him practically invisible to any Jedi sensing for him with anything but the strongest detection abilities. With a subtle movement of his right hand, he effortless lifted Carliah's prone form off of the floor, and lightly flung her over his shoulder. He did the action with the utmost gentle care, he didn't want the baby gestating within her to be harmed before it's birth, but that was the only reason why he was gentle with her body. With the unconscious girlfriend firmly secured over his shoulder, he placed the palm of his left hand on the floor beneath him, and a few moments later it shattered into debris and Vornskr and his catch descended into the darkness below.

Carliah remained unconscious for several hours before awakening on board a ship in a small room. She tried to open the door but it was locked. So, she did what any scared pregnant woman would do, she pounded on the door and screamed very loudly for someone to come and let her out and tell her what was going on. She was terrified. 'Yusan please come help me,' She thought as she continued to scream.

Meanwhile, should Yusan return to apartment he would find a large part of the floor missing. A fragment of Carliah's bandages would also be found, along with her vibrosword. Carliah obviously, would not be found anywhere and the door would be broken off of it's hinges.

@[member="Darth Vornskr"] @[member="Yusan Fenn"]

Yusan entered the apartment building a few hours later. He was tired, dealing with Senators was an excruciatingly annoying job, especially with the Republic in its current state. He took the turbolift up to their floor and stepped out into the hall. He knew immediately that something was wrong. Several of the complex’s other tenants were in the hall, staring in the direction of his apartment. He pushed his way through the crowd until he could see what they were staring at.
The door to his and Carliah’s apartment had been torn off its hinges and a large portion of the floor was missing. Carliah’s vibrosword was leaning against the wall close to the couch and a portion of her bandages, which were normally over her empty eye sockets, lay discarded on the couch. Yusan frantically searched the apartment, but he couldn’t find his lover anywhere. “What the hell happened here?!” He practically screamed as he gave up searching. She was done and there didn’t appear to be any clues as to where she had went or what had happened, other than that where ever she was it likely wasn’t by choice. He walked back out into the hallway and scanned the crowd of concerned neighbors. “Did anyone see or hear anything?” He asked, hoping that one of them would be able to offer some kind of information about what had occurred in his home.

A small jolt of electricity would zap the walls and floors of the cell, no doubt momentarily stunning the pregnant Miraluka for a moment should she continue to bang at the cell door. Once that had subsided, the door slowly opened to reveal a man with broad shoulders completely concealed by a crimson cloak. His muscular body took up the entire frame of the door as he slowly walked into the cell, and once he was far away enough from the door is swung shut and locked behind him. Despite no face being visible underneath the gloom of the hood covering his head, you could tell a pair of fierce eyes regarded you with a mixture of amusement and barely contained cruelty. Then, a voice, cuts through the air so savagely that it blocked out all sound around it momentarily. "Y̵o҉͞͞u̷͘r ̡̀e̡f҉̴f͠o̴̕͘r̷t̵͟ş t̶̴ó̶ ́c҉͡͡a̴̡̕l̵͜͞l̛͡ ̸̸͟t̕o ̶y̴̡͡ou͏̸̴r̸̶ ͏b͏͏̢ȩl̛o̧v̡͝e̶d̸̢͝ ̷̀a̛r͝e̕ u͠s̸e̶͡l̢̛͜e̷̡͞s͝͞s͡, ̸҉i̢n̴͠s̛ec̀͢t̨.́" The voice was terrible, yet queerly majestic all at once, and harbored an echo that seemed to be created out of multiple voices speaking all at different intervals. However; in the end the voices all repeated the same thing the singular voice concealed by the echos, albeit in different orders.

Carliah froze for a moment as the electricity coursed through her body. Once she was free from the temporary paralysis she glared defiantly up at the figure. "No! Yusan will not rest until I am found! He will save us, and I will never bow to you." She told him, anger lacing her voice like poison. What did this man want with her? She didn't think anyone aside from Yusan knew, or cared, about her existence. She growled under her breath and sprang forward, swinging her fist at the man.

The cloaked figure merely raised up a single hand, and an invisible hand wrapped itself around Carliah as she lunged at him. He merely held her in place, watching with curious amusement at the fury her facial expression conveyed. "Ý̛ơ̛ù̷r̷̴̡ ̕͠h̨͢͢o̧̢͝p҉̢̢e̢͝ ̸̴i҉s̵ ͟m҉̴ís͟͡p͏͝la̢͡c̨e͞d̨,͏̡͝ ̸̀c̶̴̢ḩ̴i͡҉̧l̸̶d҉.͞ ́H̶̨͟è͡ ̡͘͏w͏i̷l̛͝l̕͞ ̶̛͡n̡o̢t̡̡̀ f̨i̶͘nd̷̸͞ y͟o̢ư ̶́͟h͠ere҉,̨͝ ͝͝a̴̕͡n̶̕͠d̡̀͡ ͘y̶ǫ͡ur ̧p͠҉r̨͘a̵̛y̵͘͡e̷͘rs ̶w̢͠i̷͜l͝ĺ̨ ͠no͘͏t̕͟ ͝r͠e̢͘ąc̵̨̀ḩ̷ ́h̶im ̡t̀h̸͟r͡҉͡o͝ug̶̸͝h t҉h͝ę͝͞ ̷̨b̴̴̢la̵̛c̷̛͢k̢͟n͜͞͏e̕͡s͝ś.̢͘ ̶̨͡I͘̕҉n͟ ͜the̢͡ ̡b̸̨̀e̴l͜ly̢͘͠ ́ơ̴f͜ ̛th̴e̢͘ ̸͟҉b̴͝͝e̕a̷̷s̵͟t͟,͏̛ t̴h̵̢̛ę̀rȩ̨̕ i̷̛͞s b̢͜͡ut oń̨̕ly͟҉͠ ̨͢o͏n̕e҉̷ ̡̢wh̡͡ớ w̨͜į́͞l̵͏l̸̴ ̛͏hȩ̴͝e̵̸d ̨a̸͢n͟͡d̕҉ ̵̢͟a͘͝n̴̶̢s̕͜w͟ę̨r̕҉ ͏͞͞ỳ̢͠o͠ur͡ ̷̶̶pl̶e̷̡͝a̶s.͏͘" With an effortless gesture, Carliah would rise off the ground by a foot or so, still bound by the Force commanded by this dark man. Carliah Dakrone

Walking the Path to Redemption
Carliah tried her hardest to struggle against the Force holding her. She growled at her assailant as he spoke. "I will not leave my children behind to suffer at the hands of a monster like you. I will stay as long as they are here.... Yusan will come looking for me! He will find us! And I pity you when he does," she spat at him. She would not show this many any fear. She would not kneel at his feet and swear loyalty to him. She would not follow his orders and let him lead her and her children to the Dark side and their eventual deaths. She would do everything she could to fight him until either Yusan arrived to rescue her, she found an opportunity to escape, or she lay dead at this man's feet. And, if he were to kill her and Yusan heard of it, which he no doubt would, that would be the end of him.

Meanwhile, back on Coruscant one of the other tenants of the complex stepped forward to speak to Yusan. He had been heading back to his own apartment when the Sith had entered and had seen a bit of what he looked like. "Some guy in a cloak and some kind of armor with a helmet was in the building today. Last I saw he was walking towards your door. I didn't stay in the hall very long, looked like trouble and I rather like living." The man explained, shifting from foot to foot nervously as he spoke. He didn't want the Vice Chancellor angry with him.

The disrespectful act of spitting in his face was a common occurrence with those that he had imprisoned, but that defiance only made them more fun to break. He slowly took his hand off of her stomach, and gently wiped away the spittle that had landed on his cheek behind the gloom of the hood. "Ą ̨̨͠p̵it̡͡y̧͠ ̷̨f҉o̶r̶ ̡h̛̕ìm͢ ͜͏ẃh̶e͝n͟͝ ̸͝h̸͞e̕͢ ̵͞d̛o͘e̴s,̶́ ͢fo̢͘҉r̀͘ ̵͜I̛͟ ̸̛̕s͏h̢̨͟à̸͢ll m̢̨̀a̕k̡̛ę̴ ͢͜y̵͝o̕u̴̡ ̵w̛͠á̢t̸c̴h́ ̵͘h̡͢͝i̢̛͜s͢͢ ̵̧͘to̵̸͜r̢t͟u̕͟ŗ͢͞ę͘͟ in͟͏̸ ̢ex̀c͜r̸̵̕u͟͏c̴͘͟į̴a̵͝t͝i̧̛nǵ̴͏ ͏́͜d͟ȩ͘͝t̴a͘i͠ļ̶́.͝ You̢ ̴w̶͘į̨ll ̷͘w͢a҉t͢c͟h̢͏ ͠t̢̨h̶͜e ̷f̸̷̵ļ҉̨èsh ̛p̨͟e̡el̷e͞d̴̛ ̵f͜r̴̨͝o̕͟m ͟h͞͡i̶͡s͠͡ b͞on̶͝es̵̢͠,́ ̸̧an͟҉d̀ ̢h̡i̵͟s̕ ̸͏̶b̵o͜͟d̸̀y͝ ҉d́͟e̴fil҉̢̀ed̕͠ b̴͟y̧͜ ̀͏t̨h҉ȩ̷̛ ͏D͢a͢r̕k̷ ̵̶̕S̶íd҉ę ̶i̕͏̷ņ̧ h̡̛i̸͝s ̕l̡͞ą͞҉st̛ ̶̨m̸̀͘o̶͘͜m̶̵ȩ̕͡n͜ts͟͢ ͟҉̶o͜͟f ̷́p̵̕͟ŗ͞ec̢͡i̢o͟u̵͞s̡ ̵̨l͠i̸f̴͜e̴͝͞.̵ T̴͏h̡̀͝e͞ņ̨͞ ̕I͟͝ ̷̕w҉҉i̛͡l̡̡̛l̸͝ fée̸͜d̨ ҉͟y̵̛ou,̶̢͠ ̢̧a͢n͝d͟ ́yo̵̢u̷r̨͡ ̢̢ćh̴͏̢į̢l͜͠҉d҉re̶n̸ ̕͝h̵̨͞i̴̧s ̛͜ŗ͘é͢ḿ͘a̴̕i̸n̨͢s̡͠.̨̡́" He released his hold upon her, giving off a small push to shove her to the back of the cell. He then simply stood there, deeply breathing in his surrounding for a moment before he waved his hand again to unlock and open the door behind him. Walking the Path to Redemption
Carliah sat curled up in a ball in the corner of her cell. She had been imprisoned for several days now. She remained defiant in the presence of her captor but the solitude was beginning to overwhelm her. She had never been without Yusan for so long and she was terrified of what would happen to her after the children were born. No doubt he would use torturing her a method of bending her children to his will. She wasn't afraid of the pain, she had grown used to such things early on in her childhood. What worried her was what this monster could do to her kids. She would gladly throw herself in front of Force Lightning or anything else this man threw at them to prevent them from being harmed, but she also knew that she could easily be killed in this situation if she wasn't careful, and if she was killed before Yusan could save them the twins would have no one left at all to try and shield them from the cruelty of the Sith.

For those few days the man now known as Vornskr had monitored the woman's condition during their travel, keenly keeping tabs on her mental and physical status. Soon enough they would reach Panatha, the homeworld of the Epicanthix species, of which the Dark Lord Vornskr was King of them all. He ruled from the seaside castle of Vain Hallow, a mighty fortress that comprised most of the peninsula on which it was constructed. Epicanthix soldiers guarded the ramparts, and patrolled the yards alongside Graug slavers, which had broken off from the Graug Hegemony led by Warchief Krag to join Vornskr. High above the yards soared the gargoyle-esque Vanr, keeping an eye out for any who would dare intrude on their master's domain. They were not a native to this world, but rather brought from Dromund Kaas when the Mandalorians brought forth it's apocalypse. They pledged themselves to Vornskr, their unholy savior, and served him as honor guards in protecting him and the royal family.

The ship descended to a landing pad overlooking a steep drop off into the rocky shore below, and the woman was bound, blindfolded, and gagged before being forced out of the ship. It was Graug that escorted her, their massive frames dwarfing her's by a wide margin, and they wielded barbaric longsword with serrated edges that could easily carve through flesh as if cutting butter. From the landing pad, they moved down into the castle's depths, where the air grew cold and stuffy, the only sound penetrating the air was the screams of the malignant damned. Those that had become the unfortunate toys of the Lead Interrogator, Vishas, and doomed to spend the rest of their now short lives within the hellish dungeons that sprawled underneath the castle for quite a distance. The guards removed the binds securing Carliah, including the gag and the blindfold, and tossed her into the cell before retreating back to the upper levels. Now only Vornskr remained, "Welcome to your new home, Miss Dakrone."

He had forgone his masked voice in lieu of his actual voice, which by comparison was much more pleasant, but still diabolical. "Here you shall remain, and soon I will make you enjoy your stay here. Those who do resist in the bowels of Vain Hallow, do not resist for long." With that he left her to languish in the darkened cell, but if she was hoping that her lover would find her, she would not get exactly what she hoped for. Vornskr had a plan to lure the Vice Chancellor right into his clutches, but he needed to bide his time until the moment was right. Then he would strike.

Carliah Dakrone

Walking the Path to Redemption
Carliah waited for him to walk away before whining softly and sinking to the ground. She had no idea what she would do now. There wasn't much she could do. She knew she didn't have long before being tortured, once her kids were born she'd be pretty much expendable. She wouldn't put it past this Sith to use torturing her as a way of controlling her children. She felt a single tear slide down her cheek and quitting brushed it away. She just had to stay alive long enough for Yusan to find her, then she'd be safe again. Yusan would do anything to protect her and there's no way he'd let anyone or anything get in his way of rescuing her, not even this damn Sith.

[member="Darth Vornskr"]

Vornskr eventually returned, along with a small host of hooded interrogators who flooded into the cell once the gate had been opened. They would move to crowd rush Carliah, and attempt to strap her to an X-shaped rack that had been sitting behind her unused until now. Of course, with the amount of their combined strength they would no doubt eventually get Carliah locked into the rack, but how long that took was up to how long she could resist their grasping talons. Once she had been restrained, they parted and led Vornskr walk through. He brandished a razor-sharp dagger from his person and held it up before Carliah's eyes, letting her see the dagger for quite some time before he took it away. He then held down her left hand, and gently prodded the soft flesh of her pinkie with the sharp end of the dagger, and then began to cut a fine line from fingertip to knuckle from the underside of the finger. Once that was accomplished, he began to slow and agonizing process of flaying the skin from her pinkie.

Carliah growled, kicking and screaming as she was forced against the rack. She managed to get a few good hits in, bloodying her attackers a bit but was eventually slammed against the rack. She bit her lip, refusing to show any signs of weakness in front of her tormentors. She growled slightly when she felt the blade touch her skin. She wanted desperately to scream as she felt the metal slicing through her flesh. She bit her lip until it bled, staring up at the ceiling, trying to focus on anything but the pain in her finger as the soft flesh was cut away from her hand. She knew what he was doing, knew he was trying to break her, but she refused to be broken. She continued to stare straight ahead, teeth sunken into her lip, the only sign of her pain shown by the clenched muscles of her jaw. She stayed silent as she stared ahead defiantly. [member="Darth Vornskr"]

Gently he pulled the bleeding flesh away, revealing the red flesh underneath. "You probably wonder why I'm doing this to you." It was the only words he had spoken since he had reappeared to torture Carliah, and they were said with such a tone that revealed a great lack of compassion and empathy for the poor Carliah. "I bet you believe it's to get at your beloved Vice Chancellor lover, to send a message to the Republic that their loved ones are not safe from the Sith. For others that might be the case, but for me... No, nothing so simple." He chuckled darkly as he began to work on Carliah's ring finger with the now bloodied knife, carving the flesh with expert precision. "I do this to you, because I enjoy it. When the time comes, I will make your children practice on you as well. Your body will be their canvas, the knife their brush, and their strokes will be guided by me."

Carliah stayed silent. She didn't even bother to look at him as he spoke. She continued to glare straight ahead as he spoke. She would not let this psychopath get to her. She would stay strong, and hopefully her children would not succumb to him either. She gave up on biting her lip, it was raw and bloody, split open completely due to her teeth digging roughly into it. She glanced at him once as he finished speaking. She stared at him for a few moments before smirking slightly. "I pity you..." was all she said to him before going back to staring defiantly at the walls of her cell, her prison.

[member="Darth Vornskr"]

"You and every Jedi I've come across, but I find their pity misplaced." He said slowly as he finally finished with Carliah's ring finger, now a skinless mass of bleeding flesh and agony. He tossed the bloody skin into a sterilized tray that the servants had placed next to him, the water now becoming dark with Carliah's blood. "Personally, I would think you would pity yourself, the weak little thing you are languishing in a Sith dungeon without your friends to comfort you. Then again, you still probably believe he is coming to save you, and I hope he does. I can torture him in front of you." Vornskr then roughly placed his index finger, and his thumb on the her skinless pinkie, and began to twist and pushed down on it. The exposed raw flesh being manhandled in such a way would no doubt be extremely excruciating.
