STRENGTHS

• Kinetic Buffers. Keter-class ballistic fiber is woven specifically to dampen the effect of kinetic agitation, reducing not only damage to the fabric itself but to the soft tissue of the wearer as well; Shock from kinetic force is absorbed by the fabric and equally distributed among the fiber structure, relieving the body from serious damage..

WEAKNESSES

• Blaster Fire. What Keter-class ballistic fiber lacks is dedicated energy buffers. While grazing shots and peripheral damage from blaster fire can be mitigated easily enough, direct blasts from an energy or blaster-type weapon can damage the fabric.
• Lightsaber Blows. Keter-class ballistic fiber is in no shape or form intended to dampen energy from lightsabers.

Icarus Labs is proud to present the Keter-class Ballistic Body Suit, boasting a poly-weave blend of Durafiber and Nylar that is elastic, easily integrated into existing armor systems, and excellent at mitigating kinetic shock on the battlefield. Our specially-designed 2x2 basket weave is lightweight and rugged, ideal for combat effectiveness. Keter-class Ballistic Body Suits are resistant to abrasion and tearing in the field, pairing excellently with energy-buffering armor and shield technology.
