DESCRIPTION

The Keldabe-type Cruiser is not a ship designed to patrol borders or chase raiders; it is built to end wars. A direct evolution of the ancient Keldabe-class, the Mandalorian Empire's modernized variant transforms the venerable hull into a true heavy cruiser-battleship hybrid - a floating fortress engineered to break enemy fleets through superior firepower, endurance, and sheer intimidation. At one kilometer in length, the vessel dominates any battlefield it enters. Its armored hull - layered with Mandalorian iron, carbon-durasteel composites, and advanced damage-mitigation systems - resembles a moving citadel more than a conventional warship. Shield generators are distributed across redundant nodes, ensuring that even catastrophic system failures rarely render the ship defenseless. Weapon arrays are equally uncompromising. Heavy quad turbolasers and agrocite cannons deliver relentless broadsides. In contrast, ion cannon batteries cripple shields and power grids, leaving enemy vessels helpless before the finishing salvos of proton torpedoes and concussion missiles. Tractor beam projectors lock fleeing ships in place, transforming attempted retreats into executions. While its heart is built for capital-ship warfare, the cruiser maintains a limited but potent aerospace component. A full wing of Starfighters and a squadron of support craft operate from internal hangars, providing interception coverage, surgical strike options, and logistical mobility during extended campaigns.
