GENERAL INFORMATION
Katsumi "Kat" Royal was born and raised on the planet of "New Cov". Being a planet covered in dense jungle, most of her younger years were spent within a dome city. Granted the same life as many others who share the same home, the girl had always longed to escape the city and get into the jungles. Having the aptitude for it she would find herself in a rather cozy desk job, helping oversee the logistics of a biomolecular harvesting industry. And while the job got done and credits were filling the pocket, she couldn't help but still see the dome as more of a cage as opposed to a shield. She had spent her early years sitting at a desk, was there nothing else out there? Her heart craved action, to make a better difference in life.
Now, pushing into her early thirties she had seen and experienced a myriad of what the galaxy had to offer, read reports of what has happening. She was a grown woman now, having seen action time and time again in service of the High Republic. Having risen from another nameless trooper to now being a tank commander, recently graduating from the Keren Royal Defense Complex with high honors. She now was part of the mobile infantry, the spearhead.
Doubt and troubled thoughts still plague her every day, turning to vices such as cigarras and her typical choice of drink.. Just about any whiskey. After so many years of being stuck in the mud and blood, you tend to need something to take the edge off.
Despite graduating with high honors, she has yet to face the first real offensive. It was a whole new game now being both a leader and responsible for such heavy machinery.

APPEARANCE
Katsumi and or "Kat", holds either a jaded and or smug glare. Keeping her jet-black hair shorter on most occasions, her eyes hold the beginnings of bags under them thanks to sleepless nights. Off duty she will dress differently depending on the occasion, keeping a refined and mature appearance during meetings and gatherings... While at whatever is considered home she may shut herself away, lazily clad in loose attire.

PERSONALITY
A mixed bag of a personality, may either send you away or become a close friend. She holds a vanguard attitude true and well, always willing to deploy ahead to help secure the safety of others.
Stubborn, hardly the type to back down. She holds law and order highly, which can and will conflict with her counter ideals of freedom for all.
During combat she will try to uphold a professional attitude, yet can be prone to more intense language thanks to her years as a boots on the ground trooper.

Newly graduated with high honors, "Kat" excelled at the tests and wargames of the KRDC, showing that she was capable of taking part of the armored spearhead of the High Republic. It now falls onto her to keep this prestige, ensuring victory for the Republic while maintaining acceptable casualties.
➣ A Monument to all your achievements [IN PROGRESS] - Deployed to assist the Vanguard on the far-flung planet of Jakku, her task and goal is to hinder the enemy advance and help ensure the evacuation of innocents from a hidden enclave of Jedi.
➣ Morning Duty [IN PROGRESS] - In the downtime between fighting, Kat likes to find herself up before the sun rises. Spending time to do double takes on her vehicle, enjoying the solace in the rare silence. This morning however she meets a rather interesting fellow, the two chatting over a cup of coffee.
➣ Are You An Outstanding Citizen? [IN PROGRESS] - When the captain has a goal in mind, she gives it her all. Meeting with the senator of Denon she discusses her idea behind a new bill, eager to get it pushed to the senate floor to help everyone see the coming storm surrounding the Republic.
➣ Fire and Rain [IN PROGRESS] - Taking a bit to slink away from base, Kat finds herself in a bar. Seeking a nice drink to help her shelve the trauma for another day, she ends up meeting a rather roguish individual.
➣ Ownership Dispute [IN PROGRESS] - Unimine operations on a remote planet have been slowed thanks to Imperial presence, a Hellion mercenary team has been deployed by Hex Incorporated. Kat has been assigned to figure out what is going on, remove the problem and report in the details as needed.
