History:
Kassey was born on her father's ship, The Fair Jewel, an XS Stock Freighter, and lived there all of her life. Her father was, Kassey believed, to be a bounty hunter and got the wrong people mad. After he met her mother and had Kassey, he found out that they were after him and his family. Kassey traveled from planet to planet her entire life, until she was about 17 when she convinced her parents to stay on Tatooine for a little while, arguing that no one was after them and that nothing bad was going to happen. Since she was a small child, her father taught her how to use a blaster, how to pilot a ship, even the basics of slicing (which Kassey is still working on perfecting, but getting better!) She was a great aim, a decent pilot, and she made her father proud. He wanted to teach her the skills to survive in the galaxy. She always loved him for everything he had done for her.
During her time growing up, she had heard her parents fighting about someone. Someone that she was convinced she was related to at first. The more arguments they had, the more that Kassey put everything together, and knew that she had a brother out there someone, and she has been determined to find him every since.
She wanted to live on Tatooine. Kassey had wanted to be with her friends, and was tired of leaving. They eventually stayed there for a little while, and Kassey enjoyed herself. She and her parents were eating dinner one evening, when a knock at the door was heard. Her mother opened the door, was killed on the spot, and Kassey was told by her father to hide and run away, and she knew what that meant. They have had drills in the past in case this would happen. After taking a shot of the man that killed her mother, Kassey ran towards the hanger, took The Fair Jewel, and had been traveling the galaxy ever since. Never settling, place to place, keeping people at a distance. Never getting to know someone to the point of emotion....She wore a thick mask and was determined for years never to let anyone see through.
Personality:
Kassey is quite the character. She is witty, sarcastic, flirty, and a huge tease. She enjoys meeting "her match" when it comes to sarcastic humor, and makes sure that she doesn't let anyone inside of her mind. She puts on a big front for everyone to see, making them think one thing about her, when she is really quite the opposite.
After the pain and guilt of her parents being killed, she decided to never get to know anyone, and she kept that philosophy for a long, long time. Years, in fact. She blames herself for everything that happens around her, always carrying a huge weight of guilt, even to the smallest things. She constantly worries, and she is flustered easily. But because of that lack of friendship, she tends to cling to people without them knowing, or with little knowledge. She longs for that companionship for someone to talk to. Being alone for so long, the person that gives her the slightest attention, she attaches herself to, even though she won't show it. Even if the other person doesn't know it...she really, really cares about them.
Most of it is all a front for a lost girl, but she carries herself as well as she can. With the support of her family, she's become a better person, but still nothing can hide her past.

Kassey has a bit of OCD. She continuously checks her blaster to make sure it's on her hip, she keeps her ship sparkly clean, she is obsessed with scent, and loves things to smell good. The biggest and most known fact about her is the obsession with the number twenty-three. She likes to look good all the time, always fixing her hair and make up, and the most noticeable quirk about Kassey is her ability to talk "a million miles a second", speaking very quickly and slurring her words together when she is scared, nervous, and especially when she is angry. She is very vocal and she talks a lot, especially about herself, she can come off a bit cocky, though really she's not that self centered. Kassey held the leadership position in crime syndicates in the past, and is now raising her family, working where she can and surviving like everyone on the galaxy.
Her main profession is smuggling and slicing, now that her children are older, she spends a lot of time working and enjoying the views of the galaxy...that she can.
