DESCRIPTION
Karazak East Slavers Cooperative (in addition to East Karazak, also colloquially referred to as New Karazak or Hestilic Slavers Cooperative) is a break-off from the old and well-established Karazak Slavers Cooperative.

In terms of their modus operandi, effectively nothing has changed. Merely a changing of the guard. The Kazarak East Slavers Cooperative is built on the same traditions as KSC, and adheres to the same policy. Their focus remains entirely on capturing, training, and the distribution of slaves. The Cooperative has done this for hundreds of years, and has refined the act of doing their business to almost an art.

KSC (and as such KESC) specifically stands out because of the way it does its business. They operate smoothly and quietly, never targeting one sector of space for too long, preferring instead to move about and capture slaves from different systems by the first sign of any trouble. This does not mean however that they won't take risks as KSC has been noted to operate raids within all sectors of space, even those that belong to powerful factions such as the Confederacy and the Republic. However at the first sign of trouble, KSC bails out, preferring instead to live to slave another day.

The other thing that sets KSC apart from its competitors is its treatments of its employees. KSC has a guarantee to all its employee's, if caught, they would never stay jailed for more than thirty hours, whether they were released by legal means, bribes, or outright jail breaks. It is this that sets KSC apart from lesser slave guilds.

During the plague, like everything else the Karazak Slavers Cooperative suffered. It is thought that initially KSC and other slaver guilds were actually responsible for the fast spread of the Gulag Plague throughout the outer rim, given that they constantly captured slaves, then sold them on other worlds. This could have lead to a much faster spread of the disease than would normally have occurred. When the plague truly struck home, it became difficult to get anyone to buy any slaves at all, due to fear of infection. This nearly devastated the Cooperative entirely, however thanks to a select few buyers that entirely relied on slaves, such as the world of Rattatak and long standing slavery worlds like Ryloth, the Cooperative was able to seek out a living.

When the plague faded away and the galaxy seemed to be in a state of government lawlessness, The Karazak Slavers Cooperative was one of the first organizations to take advantage. Using ancient ships and even more ancient methods the Cooperative struck into the outer rim like a force of nature. Eagerly they captured slaves by the thousands, transporting them and selling them to worlds who were quite eager to redevelop their infrastructure(through the use of slaves obviously). Quickly the Cooperative grew back to its former height, selling slaves by the thousands and gaining a great amount of fortune, once again becoming one of the greatest Slaver Guilds in the galaxy, and returning to its old glory.

RATIONALE
In recent decades, the KSC has been under the control of Sith Lord Darth Pyrrhus, who stepped into the power vacuum left after Nemen Talith reign. A mysterious disease brought an end to the otherwise prosperous reign of the Sith Lord. Pyrrhus' focus shifted elsewhere, on survival primarly, the company was left to its own devices. It did not take long for it to devolve into power grabs and in-fighting. Who knew honour and loyalty would be so fragile among slave traders.

Kossak the Hutt saw the turmoil as a grand opportunity and moved in with manipulation, bribery, extortion sprinkled atop some classic divide and conquer. Despite the Hutt's lofty ambitions, he was unable to seize control over the whole company though his faction was growing considerably. The KSC was a company of some magnitude, perhaps the greatest slaver's guild of the galaxy. Like many an empire in succession crisis, it fractured and split. Kossak was able to keep hold of a considerate part, of what now would become rebranded as Karazak East.
