DESCRIPTION

The Karak-Class Light Tank was commissioned and built on Darvannis by the Mancheron Association of Manufacturing and Commerce by request of the Brotherhood of Darkness. Transfering funds secretly through several shareholders corporations into the IGBC Account of Borrodus Mancheron Boggurobb II. The Dark Forgemaster of the Order of Saithon went personally to oversee the construction work with several dwarrow engineers to provide technical support to the mercenaries working within the industrial factories on the planet. While the brotherhood couldn't hope to compete with the more powerful factions within the galaxy at this time, the Karak-Class Light Tank would solve the problem that the behemoth that was the Ungrum-Class Mobile Fortress. While the mobile fortress was powerful, the maintenance and upkeep of the giant vehicle called into question its usefulness in a battle situation. As such the Karak-Class Light Tank was pushed into service of the brotherhood by Thane Lord Khohnuirrann Stormmantle the XXXVI.

The First Model was presented towards the Informal Council of the Brotherhood of Darkness, while not a traditional council in a sense it governed the brotherhood like a well oiled machine. Ready to strike out against the galaxy when the time came. The Brotherhood offered a difference from the unrefined barbarism of the Brotherhood of the Maw and was more effective than the broken systems of the Eternal Empire and New Imperial Order. Although they had been around for a considerable amount of time, they grew corrupted and intermingled with one another. The Sword and Hammer of the Brotherhood would begin to strike true with the development of the Light Tank, ready to be pressed into service for the growing Brotherhood Military also called the Forsaken Warhost. They would serve as the front line infantry fighting force and the scout force combined into one.
