STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
+A happy-go-lucky girl, Kara is an incredibly cheerful individual. Though she can be quite the cynic she is often one to look for the silver lining before declaring that all hope is lost and that we will all be destroyed by some strange darkness that will devour us all.
+An incredibly fast learner, Kara is able to teach herself many things, though how effective these skills are without proper guidance is another story.

-Kara is an incredibly hard headed individual with no regard for other people's feelings. Harsh and cold, she is hardly agreeable and is almost impossible to work with.
-A wild child, Kara wastes her potential by refusing to formally learn anything. Thus most of her powers and lightsaber skills are completely self taught and thus less effective than if she had been taught by a Master.

BIOGRAPHY:
Born to a very poor family from the Undercity of Coruscant, Kara was abandoned by her parents on the steps of the Jedi Temple with simply her name pinned to a ragged bundle. Jentri, Kara's father, was a petty theif and occasional runner for the rulers of the Hutt underground was in debt far over his capacity to ever repay. Her mother sold deathsticks and psuedo-spice, a dangerous cheap imitation spice, on the streets for scraps. Things weren't great for the small family of two and a newborn, but when the Hutts, or rather their hired muscle came to collect on Jentri's debt the pair were forced to flee for their lives, smuggling Kara to the upper levels and onto the steps of the Jedi temple. Her parents hoped that the Jedi, compassionate and kind, would somehow provide for their daughter a better life than the one they could have provided.

Kara was raised in the Jedi Temple on Couruscant, her earliest memories being that of Jedi Grandmaster Teferi hobbling around the Temple. It is said that it takes a village to raise a child and it certainly did. She was a mischievous child, always getting into and taking things that weren't hers. It wasn't until she was nearly seven that her Force sensitivity was noted. From then on she truly became a youngling of the Jedi Order.

She passed through many hands as a Padawan. Her attitude and predisposition towards violence was a detering factor when Masters chose their pupils. Her final Master ended up being killed in combat during the war with the One Sith. Told to believe it was her fault by the Sith Lord whom killed her she ran away, too afraid to return to the Jedi with such doubts.

Heh, neither am I. Not the Republic anyway--nor the mainstream order. Being rogue is lovely.
