- Four different modes; Light Stun, Damage, Heavy Stun, and Deteriorate.
- Deteriorate Mode: Very powerful setting where the rifle emits a sonic beam capable of tearing through matters at the molecular level and is very hard to block by a lightsaber. A charge of Deteriorate shot took up a whole power cell.
- Stun Mode: Stun mode enable the user to subdue target without causing physical damage.
- Ammo: The rifle takes a lot of power from the power cell, which increases progressively depending on which mode the user set the rifle on.
- Beskar: The rifle is designed to be weak against Beskar, so it is a tricky rifle to use against other Mandalorians.
- Recoil: The rifle has a high recoil, which takes some times for a new user to get used to. Combined with its weight, range, and rate of fire, it acts more like a scattergun than a usual rifle.
KANDAR Model 16 Ultrasonic Rifle was developed by Meshur Kandar to support his endeavour in FUs hunting. The rifle can be a very powerful weapon with its' Deteriorate mode, which is very hard to block by a lightsaber. The mode is rarely used, however, due to the extremely high power it needs, the danger of friendly fire, and the dishonorable notion it carries amongst the Mandalorian Enclave. Using the mode on other Mandalorians is considered an outrageous sin. Even using it on non-FUs aruetii is heavily looked down upon. Besides the Deteriorate mode however, the rifle is still very useful, often used to subdue enemies without harming them physically, or to chipped in opponents with small but constant and crushing damages. The rifle is designed to be weak against Beskar, so user needs to find a weak-spot when facing a Mandalorians or other Beskar users.
