- Lightsaber combat: KANDAR Gauntlet-Beskad is built primarily to combat Force-Users, therefore it's capability to go toe-on-toe with lightsaber on combat. The weight makes it easy for trained user to use the blade in combination with their jetpack, boots thrust, and another gauntlet augmentations such as missile launchers.
- Retractable blade: Could catch enemies off-guard, as the blade can be taken out in a split-second.
- Limited slot: The Gauntlet-Beskad replaces the usual Mandalorian vambrace, and can only be slotted with one extra augmentation on each hands. That limits the variety of weapon and tools that the user can bring to a battle.
- Risky combat: Unlike a normal beskad, the Gauntlet-Beskad is an extension of your arm, and fighting in it means you are putting your arms at risk, as you will be blocking blaster shots, and even worse, lightsaber slashes, with the arm portion of the gauntlet. Very risky for unexperienced users.
KANDAR Gauntlet-Beskad initially was created by Meshur Kandar, the patriarch of House Kandar and owner of Kandar Forge & Arms, as a weapon that specializes in combating Force-Users and Lightsaber wielders. Over-time, Kandar Forge & Arms started to sell the gauntlet to members of the Enclave. Orders come in with the possibility of color customization. It is also Yael Kandar's signature weapon.
