  • Races: No other races
  • Force Sensitivity: All (there is only one individual)
Strengths:
  • Like all Project Aura Sithspawn, the Kanasaza is immensely powerful in the dark side of the Force and has focused his powers into abilities that lend themselves to his name and strength:
    Earthshaping
  • Alter Environment
  • Telekinesis
  • Force Destruction
  • Force Rage
  • Force Punch

[*]The Kanasaza is immensely strong, needing to be to utilize the massive cestus gauntlets he wields as his weapon of choice. He can easily tear enemies limb from limb, crush durasteel, rend walls and hull plates apart, and otherwise be a destructive force of nature.
[*]Due to his Togorian base subject, the Kanasaza has heavily dense bone tissue, allowing it to suffer far more physical trauma than other beings.
[*]Due to the Cathar base subject involved in the melding, the Kanasaza has an enhanced healing factor, further augmented by the Lady of Secrets' alchemy. Minor injuries can be healed in moments, while more serious ones require more time and the Kanasaza to slip into a brief hibernation.
Weaknesses:
  • If subjected to a ysalamiri void bubble or void stone, the Kanasaza loses access to his Force abilities and his immense strength, making him lethargic and unable to lift his arms.
  • Force Light and other direct applications of the Light side will wound the creature, but like all Project Aura Sithspawn he can sustain more attacks before retreating or being seriously wounded or die.
  • The Kanasaza has a debilitating fear of water, and he will retreat at the first sight of anything deeper than a puddle as he cannot swim and would sink straight to the bottom because of his dense structure.
  • His healing factor can be suppressed if he is exposed to extremely cold temperatures such as by a cryoban weapon.
CULTURE
  • Diet: Carnivore, Force Energies
  • Communication: Can speak and understand Basic and High Sith
  • Technology level: While Galactic Standard technology is available and could be used, the Kanasaza eschews the use of any technology besides his cestus gauntlets
  • Religion/Beliefs: Upon his creation, like all Project Aura Sithspawn, the Kanasaza worships the Sith Lords and Ladies as its deities. He believes himself to be an instrument of destruction, much like the Nisosuti, but believes the very land itself should be used to serve the whims of the Sith. His greatest gift that he can offer, he believes, is unleashing the forces of tectonic energies by unleashing groundquakes and other uses of the land to destroy the enemies of the Sith. Those that perish are offered as sacrifices to the dead Sith, while those that survived are crushed as offerings to the living Sith Lords and Ladies.
  • General behavior: The Kanasaza is a creature of great pride, taking pleasure in demonstrating its strength and powers when he destroys enemies of the Sith. He prefers to stay on the move, a holdover from his Togorian heritage, never establishing lairs like others of his brothers and sisters. The Kanasaza knows no mercy for his victims, nor does he care about morals. He only cares to bring the full destructive power of the land to bear on his enemies.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION

As the next subject of Project Aura, the last before Taeli had to travel to Genesia for an extended vacation, she desired a fierce being as the base subject. Traveling to the fighting pits in the Sith Empire, she found a Force Sensitive Togorian that suited her needs perfectly. A slave ever since the destruction Kaine Zambrano visited upon his homeworld, the Togorian known as Morroh readily accepted the offer the Sith Lady gave him after she saw him rip a man in half in the pits: freedom in exchange for being the subject of her experiment.

On Amaltanna, Morroh and a fellow slave fighter from the pits, a Cathar named Lipur Juah, were brought to the ritual chamber. In a fusion of dark side energies and blood, the Lady of Secrets unleashed her spell and melded the two fighters into a cocoon. As they merged, the Lady of Secrets directed and enhanced their natural abilities and physique, gifting them with increased power within the dark side of the Force. When the new monster emerged from his chrysalis, he was deemed the Kanasaza iw Inshiwizi, the Wrath of Land.

The Kanasaza decided that to show his increased might, he needed a weapon. Inspired by Morroh's weapon of choice in the fighting pits, a pair of gauntlets, he forged with the help of the Lady of Secrets and her alchemists a mighty new pair. The new cestus gauntlets were grated and merged into his hands, becoming part of himself and a new channel for his powers of destruction.
