DESCRIPTION
Mindspikes are sleek, black rods that taper to a point not quite small enough to be considered truly sharp. In stark contrast to their drab appearance to mortal eyes, Mindspikes appear as brilliantly luminous pieces of artistry to Force Sight and similar abilities.

Extract or copy, works best on the willing. Not meant to copy consciousnesses, unlike their Rakatan inspiration.

STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES
  • Splendrous Comfort: The Chaweka is fast, comfortable, and secure; perfect for someone who likes to travel in style.

OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: Kal's Sanctum
  • Classification: Abnormal Residence
  • Location: The Inkwell of the Dreamlands
  • Affiliation: Kal of Masque
  • Accessibility: [ Describe logistical information on how easy it is to find/access this location. Is it hidden? Is it isolated from society or is it in the middle of civilization? Is it guarded? Open to the public or private access only? ]
  • Description: [ Provide a description of this structure at a glance. More in-depth descriptions can be added in points of interest. ]
NETHERWORLD INFORMATION
  • Lucidity: [ How coherent and as expected do things occur in this location? Do things mostly follow the general laws of the outside galaxy? Or is it more dreamlike and disjointed? ]
  • Hostility: [ What are the denizens of this location like when approached by outsiders? Are they passive and welcoming? Apathetic? Or are they hostile and dangerous? Is the landscape itself actively hostile and dangerous? What can a visitor expect to be greeted with upon their arrival? ]
  • IC Rules: [ Are there any weird rules that apply to reality around this area/object? Do characters feel a fatigue, or attrition when walking around? Does gravity work in odd ways? How are the dead/spirits affected?] / Preservationism. Items stored here do not decay - quite the contrary, in fact. Even people do not age here. You could spend a millennium without accruing a single wrinkle.
POINTS OF INTEREST
[ What areas within the structure are significant? Give a description of each point listed. ]

The Nightmare Cradle - Birthplace of horrors. A 'security centre' of sorts.
The Hall of Ignorant Bliss - Souls kept in a simulation of the afterlife they longed for.
The Archive of Lost Truths - A collection of lies; some small, some horrific.
The Well Within The Well - Some sort of 'genius loci'? Keeps the place together.

SECURITY
[ Provide a Security Rating (choose from: None, Low, Medium, High, Maximum) and any specific security assets in list format. What defenses does this location have, including internal and perimeter defenses? Please note that the rating is relative to the type of location this is. Normal civilian structures have a different scope in security, compared to military bases. As such a civilian structure with a Maximum security rating is not on the same level as a military base with a Maximum rating. A civilian structure with a Maximum rating could be the seat of a planetary government, or the headquarters of an inter-galactic corporation. Private security, alarms, perhaps even a defensive shield, but they should not have entire armies within or enough armament to destroy a fleet above. Please link rare or uncommon tech/equipment to the SW wiki article or Factory-approved submission. Common canon items do not need to be linked. ]

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
[ Include a description on the structure's history here. Detail how it came to be created and why. Talk about the people involved in this structure's history and what role it played and still plays. For historical structures, if you so desire, you can include historical events from the Chaos Canon timeline or board history where appropriate. ]

Director's Note: Their shape appears to be more 'predictable' when observed by technological means. It is currently unknown whether this is more or less accurate than the more fluctuating descriptions noted by organic observers.
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: [ State why you are making this submission and what purpose it will fulfill in RP. ]
  • Image Credit: Nephilim Concept by Franz Popera
  • Canon: N/A
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Links: [ Provide links to any relevant threads, characters, companies, locations, etc here. Canon or otherwise. Especially obscure references, or events important to the submission.]
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Name: աǟȶƈɦɛʀ
  • Designation: Sentient
  • Origins: 'Somewhere beyond Otherspace'
  • Average Lifespan: Unknown. Rarely stay in Realspace for long.
    • Director's Note: There is evidence to suggest that these beings age 'backwards' in our reality. As such, their visitations may be some sort of life-extension method. Assuming they have a finite lifespan, that is.
  • Estimated Population: Semi-Unique in Realspace, total numbers unknown.
  • Description: [ Provide a short paragraph that describes this species at a glance. More in-depth descriptions can be added in distinctions below. ]
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Breathes: 'Breathe' vacuum energy.
  • Average Height of Adults: 1-4 metres
  • Average Length of Adults: 1-4 metres
  • Skin Colour: [ Their commons skin colors. ]
  • Hair Colour: [ Their common hair colors, if any. ]
  • Distinctions: [ Describe the unique physical traits that define what they are and set them apart from more common species like humans. Be sure to include any differences between male and female, as well as variations between different regional groups if any, and characteristics that denote a matured or ageing specimen. ]
  • Races: [ Not subspecies, distinct cultural or physical races (aka, just like human races). ]
  • Force Sensitivity: Force Dead
STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES
  • Rejecting Reality: աǟȶƈɦɛʀֆ are seemingly unaffected by gravity, the concept of weight, and temperature. By exerting themselves, they can cause 'fleeting fluctuations in reality', which can be detrimental to organic lifeforms and other forms of sensitive equipment.
  • Absent in the Force: աǟȶƈɦɛʀֆ have no presence in the Force and seemingly cannot be affected by it or affect it. They seem to be able to perceive the Force, though this may be a detriment - their behaviour when witnessing unusually strenuous Force-use, Force Nexuses, and the like can be considered analogous to a humanoid staring at a bright light or being blinded outright. They prefer to avoid such effects.
  • Vacuum Eaters: Due to their unusual dietary needs, աǟȶƈɦɛʀֆ must move around rather frequently or risk starvation.
  • Radio Waves: For reasons unknown, long-wavelength electromagnetic radiation, notably radio waves, affect աǟȶƈɦɛʀֆ detrimentally. For this reason, they tend to shy away from densely populated areas. High concentrations either kill them or 'banish' them from Realspace.
    • Director's Note: There is evidence to suggest that these visitors are tethered to their own dimension throughout their stay. Based on this, I postulate that certain wavelengths may weaken or destroy their tether. Whether this results in their demise or their safe return I dare not say - we may never know unless we succeed in embedding recording equipment within their forms.
CULTURE
  • Diet: աǟȶƈɦɛʀֆ appear to subsist solely or primarily on vacuum (or zero-point) energy. This is more restrictive than it sounds, as they seem to need to move around rather frequently or risk starvation. This effect is believed to be worsened should they congregate.
    • Director's Note: It seems likely that their realm of origin has substantially higher quantities of ambient energy, especially given that these beings appear to possess complex hierarchies that would be all but inconceivable in a solitarily nomadic species. If we could find a way to access this dimension, the potential for energy generation is substantial - though that may antagonise the locals.
  • Communication: [ How do they communicate? A spoken language (if so, tell us which), through barks and yips, body language, telepathy, etc. ] / They appear to use something sorta like telepathy, but we're incompatible; cause hallucinations.
  • Technology Level: [ Describe their societal technology level if it differs from Galactic Standard. ]
  • Religion/Beliefs: [ If this species has a prominent religion or set of beliefs, describe them here. ]
  • General Behaviour: [ Describe general behaviors such as: family life, values, how they raise their young, how they find mates, how they interact with the world and other species around them. Do they hunt? Do they build? Are they inventors? Are they explorers? Are they nocturnal or diurnal? Do they attend schools? Etc, etc. ]
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
[ Include a description of the species history here. If your species is genetically engineered or Sithspawn please describe the process through which they were created, by who, and why. Explain the various challenges encountered during their creation. Most galactic species will be quite old - include major events relevant to the species in how they evolved and developed into what they are today where appropriate. Including Chaos canon events, where they impacted the history of this species, is a plus. ]

Utterly alien, seemingly weightless/not affected by gravity.

Be not afraid - thanks TNB!
