[SIZE=9pt]Quoron Viszla wanted to make a sword for Yasha Mantis for her rise to prominence in the Mandolorian Empire. Quoron had recently founded Honorbound Armory and wanted his first sword to be made for another person and especially someone of Yasha's standing. Songsteel was used because the sword should be made of a lesser used material to highlight the care and effort put into it. The sword was designed to be a gift but is meant for combat. [/SIZE]
Quoron has made many friends over his years training with both smiths and swordsmen. When the time came for the sword to be designed he reached out to some of these friends and asked them for their input. One swordsman recommended songsteel and another reached out with a few ingots of the rare metal to work on the sword.
Before Quoron started forging the sword he forged prototypes out of durasteel and continued making these until he made it up to par with what he was proud of. After this he set to work on the blade. The blade took the same level of care that an artist takes when making a statue. Days later when the sword was completed Quoron made a sheathe with the Mantis emblems emblazoned upon it along with the image of a wolf both because of Yasha's clan and that when she leads the Mandolorians into battle they will rise with her like a pack of wolves. The sword is named Kal-Buir because Quoron consider's Yasha's leadership as maternal and wants to forge a blade that would reflect this.
When Quoron finished this blade he felt as if he had put a part of his soul into the blade. When he picked up the sword it felt perfectly balanced and when he looked at it he took out a precious emerald out of a place he had been keeping it since he had for as long as he could remember. He could say without doubt that this sword is the best and will be the best he has made.

[SIZE=9pt]Lightsaber resistant: due to the usage of Songsteel the sword is [/SIZE]extremely[SIZE=9pt] resistant to lightsabers[/SIZE]
[SIZE=9pt]able to cut through light and medium armor: again due to the usage of Songsteel the sword is very sharp and an [/SIZE]excellent[SIZE=9pt] combat weapon.[/SIZE]
Incredibly light and able to block blaster bolts: Songsteel is a lighter metal and due to its resistance to lightsabers
If it breaks it will be nearly impossible to repair: Due to Songsteel's rarity if it were to break It would take finding another source of songsteel to repair
because it is made by a workshop with only one location it would need to be taken there for a temporary fix: Because Honorbound Armory only has one location it would not be possible to repair in a place other than this
little guarding near the hands so they are exposed: the sword has a streamlined design which makes it sleek but reduces protection of the hands
