Strengths:
- The armour is completely sealed against dangerous environments and biological weaponry and should its advanced filters not be enough, the wearer can utilize the oxygen reserve tank for up to 2 hours
- Magno-grip boots let Kaiza magnetize herself to the surface she stands on
- By combining materials highly resistant to damage and various counter-measuring devices, the armour provides Kaiza with a great deal of protection, be it from blasters or lightsabers
- Thanks to military-grade technologies, such as the holographic HUD or anti-flash lenses within the helmet, Kaiza can quickly orient herself on the battlefield
- Although light and fully articulated, the suit of armour still limits the wearer’s agility - jumping, climbing, performing acrobatic manoeuvres, moving around, all will be slightly clumsier and demanding greater energy expenditure
- Armpits, popliteal, and other sections shielded only by armourweave are highly vulnerable to attacks
- Certain environments, such as swamps and muddy fields, will severely hinder the wearer’s movement and quickly lead to exhaustion, making the armour’s weak points easy to exploit
- Heavy blaster rifles, slugthrowers and blunt melee weapons can dent the plates, further inconveniencing Kaiza’s movement and having a good chance of delivering grisly injuries without necessarily penetrating the armour itself – given the suit’s sealed nature, such wounds will be impossible to treat lest Kaiza removes the armour
- Despite offering impressive protection against physical attacks, there is nothing special that’d shield the wearer from the Force
- Slugthrowers with armour-piercing ammunition will find little trouble in getting through the suit's plates
- Getting hit by several EMP or Ion blasts in quick succession will temporarily knock out the armour's internal systems, disabling the helmet's functions - the most crucial of them being the advanced breathing filter, leading to the wearer's exposure to harmful environments and biological weaponry
DESCRIPTION
As tensions and hostilities rise all over the galaxy and peacekeepers are needed more than ever, Kaiza Pawaro is forced to embrace her new role as Jedi, ending conflicts and opposing those who threaten civilization itself. Given the task’s monumental and extremely dangerous nature, Silver Jedi armour smiths have manufactured a light, yet durable piece of equipment for their sister in faith. Aiming to keep its Jedi wearer alive, the suit offers several layers of protection that should give the Jedi a chance to live long enough to see the Sith defeated. From armourweave bodyglove to plates of phrik and reinforced duraplast, the suit possesses high defensive qualities while keeping mobility in mind, as Kaiza needs to retain her sword-fighting capability. It’s a compromise – to avoid fully sacrificing the wearer’s agility, joints have been left exposed, covered only by armourweave.
Two energy sinks and a standard combat de-ionizer act as additional measures to counter or absorb blaster and ionic energy, while a sound-dampening overlay helps to shield the wearer from sonic blasts.
Finally, the helmet is filled with advanced functions designed to assist the wear, be it for utility or convenience. Audio and video recorders, encrypted internal comlink, multi-frequency target and acquisition system, holographic HUD and other technologies all aim to help Kaiza move through battlefields and quickly assess chaotic situations that come with battle. All those features are obviously lost should the wearer choose to expose her face by removing the face mask, which is attached to the helmet via a pressurized seal.
