There are a lot of people and various fleets. Personally I prefer fleeting in 1x1 or 2x2 lest I have to spend an entire day reading through 8 other posts to work out who has gone where,who's shot what so I can work out damage and respond.

Thoughts on splitting down into smaller engagements with some crossover?

Oh come off of it, we don't need a map for a bloody Rebellion fleet battle, this isn't some sort of mini Omega. Because I'd rather not spend the good part of my posts moving every single one of my ships a handful of hexes at a time, completely butchering the composition of my fleet. Fleeting out of events should be more of a writing form rather than taking a piece of paper and writing down your ship health, shields, and everything else only to lose your star destroyer in the first post since your enemy concentrated firepower.

I say a big fleet battle, no more, no less.
