Jedi Padawan Kadan Scipora constructed his first lightsaber on the year anniversary after he was taken from Mandalore. Using the fragments of his Clan necklace, he melted it down to help make a casing that would be resilient, and something he could carry with him as a keepsake for his family. The weapon is designed to be able to be used underwater, and bears a symbol of a Mythosaur skull along the bottom of the hilt, something to remind him of where he came from.
