Dharma Vessia

Lords of the Fringe
Well a little travel was needed for Dharma. She did not get much time away from Soledad outside of Fringe jobs. Slipping into a near by bar on Nar Shaddaa, the old and easy drink was ordered. Rum had always hit the spot for Dharma and it was not going to change today.

Couldn't hurt to pay Nar Shadda a visit. Heading to one of his favorite cantinas, Josh found a seat near the back after getting himself a drink. Wine would suffice, of course. It'd been quite some time since he was last here... Just before the invasions. It was here he'd met the crazed Sith, Karin Dorn. At this point, he might be more insane then she.

Hearing the one next to her order the same, Dharma held her glass up and tilt it towards @[member="stardust"] while giving a nod with a remark. "Enjoy, sweetie." There was attempt to keep from talking to the inanimate objects around her. Her reality could be a pain at times. That was why she said little in places like the bar, it was to public for insanity.

Josh smirked a bit at the women who seemed to be having a good time, before taking his drink as it was slid to him. Raising his glass, he yawned, before draining it. Wine was always nice, and a good way to relieve stress after ending a war between two of the biggest factions in the galaxy. Here, he could relax.

Ignoring the glass and bottles talk about the Jedi that her pet and her were suppose to go after on O'reen. Dharma did not want to deal with a Jedi. Even though Jensaarai training wanted to pop the man in the face, it was more the anger of O'reen that was pushing her to want to plunge a saber into him. However, an offer of another glass of rum help ease the rage. Dharma gave a smile to @[member="stardust"] and said, "Thanks sweetie for the round... I'm Dharma."

Josh at this point wasn't focusing on the two women. As nice looking as they were, Nar Shadda wasn't normally home to nice or friendly sorts. Dorn was an unusual and rare treat, and he was pretty sure the only reason they got along was due to DragonsFlame being likely just as insane as she was.

He looked out the window. It was nice to kick back for a change. Constant war and bloodshed wasn't his thing, and two back to back wars had made him weary. It was time to relax, rebuild, and recover.

He ordered another drink, wanting to forget the past as best he could.

Dharma tried to focus more on the Twi'lek than the Jedi that a few inanimate objects were pointing out to her. Taking a sip from her drink, she pleasantly replied. "Little of everything one can get away with before the law comes." She giggled after answering. Then asked the same question to @[member="stardust"], "How about you... what brings you here?"

Josh noticed that @[member="Dharma Vessia"]'s eyes went to him a few times. While he was suspicious, he realized it was quite normal for people on Nar Shadda to be wary of a Jedi in their bars. While the Jedi Master wasn't here on a law enforcing spree, despite Nar Shadda being a Republic planet, many didn't seem to realize that. He was just here for a drink just as the others were.

It was a shame, really. That people didn't realize that Jedi were human. Josh himself wondered sometimes if the Jedi were human. He himself tried to live a normal life, when he wasn't protecting the peace. He had wishes to be a family man, get married, have children, like many others. Why was he so different?

He took another sip of his drink as his thoughts wandered.

Dharma looked at her glass. It had been saying a lot her since her hold on reality had things all around talking. Shaking her head which was not to what Stardust said but to the glass, she told the glass to be quiet. Then said to Star, “I see you need lots of fun after O’reen.”

Josh cracked his neck and drowned the drink, ordering another. Finally, the stares were starting to die down. It was obvious now to some of the patrons that the Jedi meant no harm. Josh was a peaceful sort, random violence wasn't his thing after all.

Downing her drink, her hand went up to catch the bartender’s attention and she shook the empty glass with two fingers extend out. It was Dharma’s way of getting another drink and Stardust one. She should been getting drinks for the Twi’lek who lost an arm. The proper thing to do to show unity in the new era of Fringe’s history, she added towards Stardust. “I’ll get the rest of your drinks on my tab, sweetie… you lost an arm for a better one so let’s drink to new limbs and allies...” Then she added if the Jedi could her or not, but it was the first time actually looked at him. “… Let’s add to the toast… down with warmongers and liars known as the Republic and Jedi.”

He almost started laughing as the woman made a remark toward the Republic and Jedi's... What was that? Warmongering? Didn't the Republic JUST make a peace treaty with the Fringe, instead of just attacking them and going for more and more war like people were wanting them to do? Such fickle people these sorts were.... But all Dharma got out of him was a smile. An amused smile, the expression saying "You're dead wrong, but do as you like". But regardless, he stayed silent, letting them have their little fantasy where the Republic are warmongers, the Jedi are warmongers, and the Fringe and the Sith and the Fel are all pretty little perfect pumpkins that are full of purity and just morals.

Ah, what hypocrites this world bore.

Breathing in and out slowly, there were a couple of heads on a growing list Dharma had just started. She did not want to argue with her glass, bottles behind the bar, or the Jedi with that look he flashed her. Looking at Stardust, breathing was her way of keep calm for the moment, and she focused on what Stardust said. “That’s sweet, but I’ll get the tab… you should have some fun and enjoy your time away from the battle field.”
