Repair Bay 117
It had been less than a few days since she left the comfort of her home on Tash-Taral, if one could consider that truly a home. Between the ship that [member="Kaia Starchaser"] brought and her damaged XJ9 Prototype, they managed to clean up what they needed to and get her moved off planet without any real issues – however, the XJ9 needed service, badly. Unfortunately, Mira wasn’t the type to allow just anyone to touch her coveted Starfighter so with the assistance of Incom technicians – repairs began on the vessel to restore it to factory new conditions, with Mira hovering over every move they made. Unfortunately for her, that meant sleep was something she had to sacrifice. Between the oddball shifts and Sneaker going back and forth between the ship and maintenance for himself – she was running on fumes. For now, it seemed the teams were taking a break, given most of the ship repairs and maintenance was complete – which was a good thing for Mira. She could finally rest, of course after she had hit the refresher…nothing says gross like months on a desert planet with limited supplies to keep oneself clean. Thankfully, she wasn’t too gross – Kaia was partially responsible for that. Rest didn’t come easy, or even in a bed for that matter, instead she found herself on a stack of crates filled with used parts. She fluffed her flight jacket up and rolled it up under her head, tucking her legs up tight against her buttocks as the sounds of whirling machines and various noises in the background became a sweet, soothing tune to her ears. They put her mind at ease, slowly sending her into a deep slumber. It wasn’t long before she was on her back, arm flopped over the side of the crate, snoring as loud as a herd of banthas – yeah, rest well deserved.
