  • Projectiles, blaster bolts, and other melee weapons tend to "bounce" when striking the blade.
STRENGTHS
  • Duelist's Longsword: Forged using specific modifications of the typical Force-Imbued blade, the blade has a signature resonance when performing various tasks. Removing it from the sheath tends to have a louder ringing as it scrapes against the bolster. When struck by blaster bolts or other projectile type weaponry, an almost deafening twang can reverberate off of it. Even sources of light that reflect off of the blade seem to become much brighter. Causing the weapon to almost look as though it is glowing or is radiating when in the light. However, these are just side effects. The biggest boon granted by this, is that weaponry that strike this weapon tend to "bounce" or find it much more difficult to land a solid strike against the blade. Bolts, can be redirected in such a fashion, that the bolt could in theory, be moving faster after the impact. The wielder of the blade would find it much easier to perform parries, or counters due to weapons less likely being able to stay in contact with the sword. The "Bounce" aids the user in moving the blade away from themselves, or even use it to their advantage to have whomever they are facing become off balance from a more powerful blow being "bounced".
  • Je'daii Heritage: As a Force-imbued sword, the weapon is incredibly durable. Able to take severe punishment, as many are considered to be nearly indestructible. While of course weapons that can destroy Force Artifacts could quite possibly do some lasting damage on the weapon, it otherwise is a reliable sword akin to the ancestral blades of past. More importantly, the blade has an advantage of being able to strike, maim or even kill force spirits.
WEAKNESSES
  • Not Enough: As a physical blade, the sword has a lack of cutting power compared to the iconic Lightsaber. While the blade is unnaturally sharp, and can cut through almost anything given time, and depending upon the strength of the user, it cannot cut through everything with one pass. Even a Lightsaber has metals that cannot be damaged, or find a hard time. As such, this sword too, has some materials that it cannot cut through with one swing. Thus, it will require multiple swings, or a good hearty blow.
  • Tied Through the Force: As a relic of the force, it has stronger connection comparable to other regular items, or even other swords. It gains many of its force related gifts due to this connection. Should this connection be hampered, or even entirely disconnected for a time, it would lose many advantage is has. While it would still retain the ability to "bounce" weapons off of it, it would not be able to inflict damage to spirits, or glow quite as brightly.
  • Puppet Strings: The sword is assumed to be created by Vora Kaar in his past. As when the weapon is sheathed, it can only be drawn and used by the man. It seems to have a mind of its own. Refusing to be drawn by anyone else other than the Lord of Strength himself. Yet he is never seen using it as it is, as quoted, "A relic of the past." Thus, the only man who can wield the weapon, refuses to do so.
DESCRIPTION
Tash Kaar snooped into the private quarters of Vora. Her adopted father and Master of the force. She came here, looking for anything. Just fun things about the man, or maybe a weakness that he had. One day, Tash knew she would become the Master. One day she would become a powerful Lady of the Sith. Killing the man who proclaimed himself as the Lord of Strength would only mean, she was stronger. She would take his mantle and become even more powerful than he is. Continuing the Cycle of a Sith's life. Living long enough to make the next generation stronger, and then perish underneath the blade of a saber.

The Twi'lek was silent as she simply walked through the room. Spotting a couple holocrons on a table. Unsure if they were his, or ones he owned that had once belonged to another Sith. She wouldn't mess with them now as they could be loud, giving her position away. Looking through the room, it was a closet she found. A wry smile crossed her face. Did he only wear that one set of robes or did he have multiple? Maybe the man who she has never seen the face of, had pictures like some home-sick soldier?

Upon opening it, she found a couple different robes that were within. Strangely, one of these brown, not black, robes was wrapped around something. Loosely wrapped as though to protect it from scuffs or marks. grabbing it in the center, she could feel the heft, through the robes. A small portion fell off to reveal a pommel of a sword. The smile faded into a confused furrowed brow. Reaching into the robes, she grabbed the sheath, holding tightly to let the robes fall at her feet. Before her, was a leather bound sword with green colored leather to hold it upon a belt. The sword though?

The almost emerald green grip looked darker in the dim light. Yet, the silver pommel, and guard were brighter than the lights within the room. Tash had to blink a few times to reset her eyes to the bright weapon before her. Gold-colored bolsters separated the segmented grip. Of which, it was marred. Damaged from use, but nothing significant enough to be seen without close inspection.

"You should leave that alone."

Tash nearly jumped out of her skin as she turned around with sword dropping to her feet with loud clambering noises. Vora Kaar, the man she had been snooping on, stood in the opened doorway. Her fascination with the sword prevented her from sensing his arrival, nor hear the door open. The man closed the distance then strangely, knelt down before her, only to reach down and pick up the sword from where it fell. Standing up to face the woman, Vora drew the weapon.

The echo pierced her skull with a ring. The sword was drawn and brightened up the room as though it were a Star in the void of space. Yet after a moment, it dulled and seemed to almost sadden. Tash leaned forward and inspected the sword before Vora took a step back.

"Spying on what I own, will not help you."
"Whose to say that?"
"Knowing I own this will not aid you."
"Well then you wouldn't mind telling me what it's called?"
"It doesn't have a name. Just a relic of the past."
"But-"

The almost glare could be felt through the helmet of the black-clad man. Tash silenced herself mid-sentence as the sword was returned to its scabbard. A loud click seemed to make the room even more silent. Vora then strangely used the force to pick up the robe, but had chosen to pick up the sword manually. As though it were sacred to him. Tash would remember this.

Sliding past her, he wrapped it neatly once more before placing it back in the closet. Closing it once more before using the force to throw the woman out of the room.

"Should you attempt to come back in here, you will find any pain previously endured, would have been considered a mercy."

Tash knew that was no threat. It was a promise the man would keep. She knew him to be rather abusive, but not a liar. Simply nodding her head, the door between them closed. Vora left to himself in his private quarters. Tash furrowed her brow once more as she walked off. Why would he keep brown robes? More over, why were they wrapped around a sword she had never seen him use?

"Such a mystery."
