Slightly tan skinned, Julius takes much more from his mother in terms of appearance rather than his sister. With his noticeable olive colored eyes, Julius was often called a 'clone' of his mother due to their striking resemblance. Personality wise, though, Julius has taken much more from his father - an early retired Humbarine police officer. He will most likely be seen in the spartan comfort of military garments.

Not hailing from an infamous galactic family, Rhein always achieved their goals through hard work and sheer determination. As such, Julius was taught the importance of diligence and the reliability in one's own hands. Thus making him very independent but also stubborn from an early age. Similar to his father, Julius would inspire those who he led but hard to work with in a partnership situation.
Brought into a home of Humbarine patriots and an ever shifting political scene on Humbarine, Julius witnessed first-hand the effects of foreign rule of his homeworld. He grew an affection for intergalactic exploration and sought to become a journeyman for the Humbarine Explorer Corps at first but with the constant alteration and instability of Humbarine politics and the following consequences, Julius felt obligated to serve in the military.
As a mischievous teen whose curiosity often led him to problematic situations, the young man faced difficulties in adapting to the life in the Academy and subsequently the Marines. In this complicated adaptation phase he found the helping hand of the slightly older [member="Arage Bao"] with which he forged a strong friendship. Her imperialistic and authoritative upbringing smoothed young Julius' integration within the structure and life of the Humbarine Navy.
Upon graduation he was drafted into a Humbarine Marines Recon Unit of the 3rd Colonial Division. A frontier stationed division in which Julius' natural affinity to exploration was exploited in reconnaissance operations. During a complete fiasco of a mission, corporal Rhein demonstrated exceptional bravery and envious cunning saving his unit from complete obliteration after which he was drafted directly into the structure of the Special Forces.
At some point during his tenure at the Spec Forces, he met [member="Yula Perl"] during an operation where she became an unexpected ally. What was more unexpected was the two eventually engaged in a romantic relationship with Julius heavily falling in love with the half-Zeltron. The relationship was not incredibly short but it was intensely filled with clashes of the two's very opposite personalities and ideals. Its end came with Julius choosing the side of the imperialistic Admiralty in the coup d'etat which the Admiralty ignited. To this day, Yula remains a weakness to the soldier with the latter's mind occasionally wondering what it could've been. Despite that, Julius still as stubbornly believes he took the right choice.

After he served in the Special Forces for a couple of years as a Lieutenant, his old friend Admiral Bao staged a successful coup d'etat and contacted him with a direct order:
