Her regular police uniform consists of a pair of dark brown high-rise leather boots, fitted black slacks and a long uniform jacket made out of black leather that can withstand some melee damage and blunt kinetic force. The jacket bears a detachable CPD insignia on the left shoulder and a detachable sergeants rank insignia on its right.
On outer duty, the uniform is complemented with black gloves, a black utility belt and a black combined utility/flak vest with Dura-armor inserts and pouches for further protection and practicality on the field. On the belt right side rests her OS-104 blaster pistol in a holster, and on the left side hangs the CPD standard issue stun baton. The pouches of the vest contains stun cuffs, comlink, medpack and other things needed to handle the galaxys crooks and scoundrels. Usually not wearing a helmet but has a blast helmet available in the speeder. When participating in particulary dangerous crackdowns she has the option to use the departments armour system for ultimate protection.
As an Imperial cadet she were introduced to the Imperial doctrine, teached in discipline and trained in marksmanship, and showed how to hit quick and hard to defend the territories and ideologies of the Empire. She became one of the best cadets in her class, graduated and found herself a place and a affiliation in the Imperial Army where she begun a tour across Imperial space. During her first time of service, she engaged in a variety of missions and battles, the second one more violent than the first. She came face to face with rumors and stories she thought were lies back on Coruscant, the true nature of the Empire left a foul impression on her and after being diagnosed with battle fatigue she were deemed unfit for further service and sent home.
The return of their daughter was much welcome to her parents. However, Jessica were still the adventurous girl driven by a cause to serve the public and become something else than just walking in her parents footsteps. With the help of her mother and months of treatment and evaluations, she applied for the Coruscant Police Academy and got in on her first try. She excelled at the academy and were early on considered for a squad leading position. Now, she is one of the few female sergeants in the corps.
Her partner since a couple of years, officer Mathis, is a two year younger, tan-skinned and black haired human male. Jess took him on as a rookie when he graduated the academy and joined the same district as her and the two of them went along very well. They know what each of them are capable of and are close friends off-duty, however they have kept their relationship at a professional and friendishly level.

Police airspeeder, ''Spinner''
The ''Spinner'' is a two-seated airspeeder developed for police duty. Equiped with a wrist-controlled drone droid which can be deployed for close protection and bears an array of scanner and camera surveillance systems. The speeder has an outside speaker system to communicate with crowds. A red and blue lightbar on top as well as a front-right-mounted searchlight.
Armament:
- One aft-mounted blaster canon which can be rotated 360 degrees and controlled from inside the cockpit.
- One front-mounted ion blaster canon to disable speeders in pursuit.
