Jack would have loved to have been on the other side of the arena, rifle in hands but this wasn't that type of fight, unfortunately, a pest like this he would have just killed with a flame projector and had it done with, but duels had rules and other karaking poodoo, so if Jack wanted the prize he was going to have to follow them. His probe proved his opponent wasn't an amateur, he did jump at Jack like one though, at least he knew that anyone worth their karaking salt would try and get him good for doing that.
Behind the visor Jack started searching for an opening but couldn't see much more than a trap waiting for him, he could taste the anticipation of his next attack, like whatever move he made next was going to be the wrong one, the only way to win was to not play, but not playing also lost, it gave his opponent the advantage of being on the offensive. Jack loved thinking like this, he was a solider long before he was a commander, and a hunter before that analysing his prey, playing with them, prodding the for vulnerabilities, and an intelligent foe was always the best. Jack started to throw simple and easily deflected attacks at his opponent, the goal of which was to use the human genes of an endurance hunter to his advantage, while the Zabrak, despite the advantage second heart were carnivores, they needed small bursts of high energy followed long rest periods, humans before weapons would run down prey, and let them drop from exhaustion, Jack wanted to see if the old as the dirt they stood on strategy would hold true.
ONE. TWO. THREE. FOUR.
Every shot was calculated to be pushed aside rather than re-directed with the goal of giving his opponent as little to work with as possible as he presented himself as a counter attacker, though Jack did make sure to keep his mind's eye open for any sign that the balance was going to shift and Jack was going to have to go on the defence and change his plans.
ONE. TWO. THREE. FOUR.
Jack continued, wanting to give his opponent a pattern to settle into, make him lazy, sap his energy, force his mind to focus on the next blocking the next attack rather than the overall strategy of the battle the pair was undertaking.
ONE. TWO. THREE. FOUR.
Jack did have to admit that meeting someone who was meant to be an equal match on the battlefield was going to be fun, keep things him from going rusty, the only way to improve was to challenge yourself.
ONE. TWO. THREE. FOUR. FIVE! SIX!
Jack broke his pattern suddenly with the activation of one of the tonfas mid swing suddenly braking the established pattern and throwing a low blow towards his opponents left leg, while a high blow was ready to strike and cover the Zabrak's escape should he dodge in the same way as the first low blow Jack attempted with the force pull.

(This fight needed a little music, so I bought some)
