Apologies regarding the late start on this one, GA staff takes the blame. Mixed signals with Veiere and both the event and site issues caused this idea to stall out a bit, but now its back and in your face so lets get our Jedi on! Zark won't be participating IC but Taeli is having problems connecting to the site so I've thrown up an intro post to start acclimatizing everyone to the setting.

I know both the event and the server troubs are still very much ongoing things, so this thread will probably be a slow burn to start off. No rush or obligation to anyone! Hopefully the pace can pick up once happy days come again. Let me know if I've missed anyone or if any smaller lightside groups would like to petition for inclusion.

I've tagged each SJO candidate listed in Veiere's planning thread both here and in the IC thread, but I'm not sure if there are any updates on the final selections. For my own part, I wouldn't be scandalized if all three showed up, but I leave it to the delegates to decide how to proceed there.

So uh, in hindsight I probably should have mentioned this in either the intro post or this one's, but this thread is only meant to be for those specifically tagged just so that can avoid avoid too much clutter.

Edit: I'm leaving this up as a general disclaimer but I just caught up with Veiere's planning thread and it turns out that this is not actually an issue currently. Apologies, carry on all. <.<

It's been suggested to me by [member="Zark"] that we consider an OOC list of topics expected to be brought up within The Jedi Moot, so to give a little insight and aid in what is to be an expected discussion across multiple faction numbers/perspectives. Frankly I hadn't considered dropping this here though the suggestion I felt was quite excellent as it will hopefully deter us from going round in circles in our talks or derailing what is to hopefully be an enjoyable experience.

Naturally this requires some input for any and all willing contributors! No pressure of course though I've always been the type to free flow things and don't often feel right in dictating specific directions of Role-play for others.

Suggested Subjects:

1. What has separated us as Jedi - Can these differences be accepted, understood and yet still continue to work together?
2. How best can we support one another - Doing so without breaking our individual code of ethics or manner of doing things.
3. The Dark Side of the Force - Understanding where this is coming from and how best to approach it.
4. The Future of the Jedi of the Galaxy - Is this a temporary Alliance (This may differ per faction).
5. Are there any requests/pre-requisites required for certain parties to commit.

These I realize are broad and will take time to discuss but such is for our thread and better done In-Character !

For the Jedi of Alderaan and the FWC this will be the main issue. The Jedi of the FWC are friendly. They love having friends. The policy of the FWC neutrality in the galaxy makes it difficult for FWC Jedi to join any skirmishes or invasions in an aggressive stance. Garith and Rianna will most likely be looking for a way to help while not committing military aid. Though this policy is very hard for Garith, he is not a healer or a politician. He may have always tried to solve disputes in a non aggressive manor but he is more of a warrior/defender.

Being of the Commenor Systems Alliance, I can relate well and truly which is why I'm hoping we can cater for every factions differences while too still supporting one another in some way.

It'll be very interesting to see how the discussion goes.
