OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: Jedi Temple of Monastery
  • Classification: Jedi Temple
  • Location: Monastery
  • Affiliation: Jedi Enclave of Monastery
  • Accessibility: The Temple is built into the mountains of Middaleth, above the healing-rich lands near the T'ra Saa Nexus. While its presence is not hidden, the temple is isolated and accessible only by steep terrain or shuttle. Pilgrims, Force-sensitives, and seekers are welcome, but entry is monitored by Guardians of the Lotus and Obsidian Gatekeepers. Restricted access is maintained for vaults and sensitive areas, but the healing wings and library are open to peaceful visitors.
  • Description: Carved into the bones of the mountains that once held the Sacred Lotus, the Temple is a place of quiet rebirth. Snow-dusted stone, lotus-carved archways, and glowstone crystals line its halls. It is a space where the Force is studied, healed, and remembered. A place not for conquest, but reflection. Above all, the Temple exists to offer refuge, to the wounded, the wandering, the lost, and the learning.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
For a long while, the Temple was of low use. Mishel certainly maintained it but did little with it beyond training her own daughter and locals of Monastery. Plenty of Echani who had moved there after the horrific events that caused the diaspora to flee their home. Others who arrived from the Scarred Worlds from the Bryn’adul’s incursions had also come to make Monastery and by proxy the Temple their home.

When the Obsidian Knights’ own CIS had fallen. Mishel brought them to the temple and gave them a new purpose as the Obsidian Guards. When she and her wife raised their children, she wanted to honor their clan and through the temple created a place for them. Somewhere, Mishel had created a place for those who, like herself, had come here lost, fallen, unsure of their purpose within the Jedi. She made space for them there on Monastery.

Now home to the Sacred Lotus, the Obsidian Guard, and the educational arms of the Rave Merrill Academy, the Enclave is not just a temple—it is a covenant. A promise to protect life, to teach the Force without chains, and to offer a path forward to those who refuse to be defined by where they began.

Note: Obsidian Guard to be subbed later.
