    Seimei Restoration Project
    Alcide-Auka
In regards to Skywalker, she had her fellow Caretakers gather up his weapon and possessions and place them into a repository of other such items left by visitors. After ensuring these things were done, the matron took a moment to reflect on the history and duties of the Caretakers, recalling previous outside visitors who either lived alongside the Lanais or treated them cruelly and wondering if Luke would be the last. After this moment of reflection, Alcida-Auka decided it did not matter but if anyone did come, they would find everything in order for them because the Caretakers would do their duty, as always.
SETTING INFORMATION
  • Structure Name: Jedi Repository
  • Classification: Vault
  • Location: Ahch-To
  • Affiliation: Jadeite/Prime Jedi
  • Accessibility: The repository is hard to find given the remoteness and difficulty of finding the world itself. One of the few star compasses attuned to the world was added to the vault hundreds of years ago. The repository vault then is located in secret beneath the island with only the caretakers of the temple knowing the entrance so they can preform their duties. The doors are heavy stone and a form of nullification resin to suppress the emanating force signatures.
  • Description: A massive vault used to house the relics and items of visitors to the world from the rare to the mundane. The Caretakers of the world don't really differentiate as once a group leaves they reset everything. Leaving the temple as it was, restoring many of the buildings and supplies should another come to the world. With tens of thousands of years of jedi history possibly stored down there as dating back to the prime jedi and until it became a lost world it would have housed regular jedi. After that it becomes a sort of time capsule with each generations tech and supplies dating when the world got visitors.
POINTS OF INTEREST
The vault itself is largely the point of interest for the temple/island

SECURITY
Maximum
: Difficult to locate on the world as the caretakers have secured its main entrance in a largely remote location on a smaller islands cave. The walls are thick and doors heavy but its real defense is that only a small handful of non caretakers know it exists.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
There is not much in regards to the historical creation of the Repository. The caretakers have spent generations filling it with the possessions of visitors to the world. Each time they reset the island in the most basic terms. They restore what changes might have been done and return it so the next visitors believe they have just discovered the world and temple. A strange trap but it might aid with the meditation and seclusion. The Jadeite discovered it largely by accident when they came and worked to befriend the caretakers learning about them, learning about how long they had been there and eventually one of the children showed them the vault which only raised more questions.

The first and earliest artifacts, items that have been found and dated range back to the formation fo the jedi on Ahch-To under the prime jedi. Ancient instruments and from across the galaxy more had been gathered from Ossus, Tython, Jedha, Rhen Var and more worlds over the centuries. THe artifacts from Tython going with Je'daii origins and reversed engineered Zeffo artifacts recovered from tombs. One of their sentries in place but deactivated. The other artifacts were not groundbreaking... it was really personal effects, clothing, packs, ration cubes and in some cases their lightsabers. The Jadeite jedi there worked to learn all that they could from the older clothing and equipment seeing if they could recreate it to get a more accurate idea of jedi life throughout the generations.

The Jadeites continued work on the temple itself and research across the planet to learn its mysteries and secrets led to more explorations of the early parts of the vaults. Finding ancient scrolls that led them to ancient sites of interest on several worlds and tomes on uses of the force from when it was experimental and new. Matsu took more interest in locations that pretained to visions she had seen when fighting alongside Maple Harte Maple Harte against her mirrorverse self with force demons and creatures that couldn't be rationalized. With Domino Domino as they had investigated dream where reality was able to be shaped by thought. The repository worked for many things but it was still largely unexplored and in need of organizing for future generations.

Helloooooooo Matsu Ike Matsu Ike .

I’m back with more suggestions and clarifications!
  • Let’s see if we can use the entry for the book as the Canon source. It is located here: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Star_Wars:_The_Last_Jedi:_Expanded_Edition
  • A reminder about canon items, both Disney canon and Expanded Universe. The burden of proof is on the writer claiming to have such an item, and even then, it does not guarantee others will follow the notion given.
    • She directed another daughter to take his weapon, his star compass, and his strange other gear to the repository, where it would join other items gathered over the generations.
    • You are welcome to include this excerpt, but we cannot endorse or guarantee that the items within question are authentic.
  • In security, you mentioned the real defense being known only to a few – what is it? I’d like to be apart of the few. :)
Beyond that, everything looks to be in order! Tag me whenever you're ready to proceed!

yeah I tried to avoid saying "these artifacts are secretly stored here... just haveit be open enough you can play with it as this went back generations by the small details in the book. Same with finding it as Luke never seemed to know about it after having been there for years. Kindof imagine it like area 51 warehouse in Indy only "top men" know about it.
