The Order of the Silver Jedi​

Sanctum protected space has many planetary system within it's boundaries. Some of which are famous/infamous canon planets that we all know and love.

Dromund Kaas, Felucia, Ossus, Mon Calamari (Dac), Iego, Kessel, Saleucami, The Wheel, Anzat, and of course Voss (just to name a few).​

Others have very little by way of description (a blank canvas for you to work a history and lore) but all of them are under our vigilance.

In consideration with the feed back, the administration had discussed ways in which we can involve members of the SJO in the faction and how we could provide you with a sense of 'ownership' of your faction. The idea I am about to propose, is a way in which we could do this, for IC purpose for our members and will go a long way in character development as well as for the faction.

SJO members are invited to choose a planetary system within SJO protected space to lead a group (this group could be made up of NPCs or fellow writers you enjoy writing with) to serve to protect that system. If you so wish, you will locate on that planet, live there and become its Jedi Protector.

Your duty to that planet and its peoples, will not only be to protect it and them, but work it in the sense of development. The planet may require structure in the form of a Temple, Hospitals, defenses, etc., any infrastructure you deem necessary for the betterment of that planet.

This would be your slice of SJO. Also, all Jedi Protectors will be made Assembly members, making up the 'council' to discuss any issues either in SJO or within any planetary system. However, the Assembly has an open door policy and all members of SJO are welcome within it's walls when in sitting.

Voss is the headquarters of the Order naturally, and will be under the control of the Assembly led by the Grandmaster, [member="Thurion Heavenshield"].

Note: Custom planets within SJO space are exempt from this, and will remain under the control of the owners/authors of the sub planets.

This is by no means compulsory, and if you and your character wish to remain on Voss or 'freelance', by all means that is fine.

However, if you wish to take up Protection of a system, please nominate the planet below and I will create an official list in the resources section for the records. First come first served!

hmm interesting idea and familiar in this area of space. the empire did a similar thing for the knights and masters if they wanted to control a planet.

Seeing as how Joza lives on Lianna and her studio is also based there, might I request to become the protector of Lianna System?

[member="Coci Heavenshield"] Korriban is within SSC space, but remains a Sith world. I'd volunteer to protect it, both for the SSC and from the SSC. Last thing we need are members dropping down to the planet and being turned accordingly! That simply wouldn't do!

Adding to that, this is an interesting little idea. It'd certainly generate a little activity here and there - certainly on those worlds devoted to the Dark Side that Jedi would not normally be able to set foot on. Could prove to be interesting anti-Sith training grounds (and that'd really bake their noodle!).

I wouldn't mind testing the waters as Jedi Protector of Rhen Var, if it is available. Mani functions best in colder climates and he'd very likely feel a closeness to his home culture on the planet. If a Padawan is allowed to become a protector that is.

I believe the Silver Watch is housed on the planet, yes?

Ringo Vinda is a canon planet in the same hex as the Wheel but, for some reason, isn't on the map.

Even though, as a writer I am the one using Ringo Vinda the most, all I have for SSC characters is NFUs. What can NFUs do under this scheme?

P.S.: I'll try again to have Ringo Vinda placed on the map. It has been denied when Tefka was the admin in charge of the map, now that Cira is in charge, having approved Alsakan under very similar conditions, Ringo Vinda may stand a chance as well.
