OOC: This a thread for Jedi and the like to test their skills and get a new lightsaber crystal. I was bored so I threw one up. It'll be part of a bigger series concerning Jedi stuff. Feel free to join in. Jedish folks only please.
Credit for the concept goes to [member="Jorus Merrill"] and his Weekend Treasure Hunt series.
Enter the caves, face a darkside version of yourself and defeat it. Once you complete the story you can use this thread as a dev for a custom lightsaber crystal. If you fall to darkness in your story while fighting, your crystal will be have a negative buff. If you stay light it'll have a positive buff.
Tell a complete story. Have fun.
Enjoy!
Enigma Prime
In the brisk morning sun shuttles descended upon the surface of Enigma Prime. They were not noticeably marked, and they were well concealed. As they touched down a few souls disembarked into the snows keeping their heads down and wits about them. Shafts of warm orange and yellow blazed a path through the strangley leafy forest, melting snows as they went.
Before them lay caves of crystals.
Force Crystals.
Each would face their own challenge. And each challengers outcome would determine the crystal that chose them. Karren herself had let a small number of acquaintances know of her discovery through the Jedi Library Network. Others might have been tipped off on their own or even felt the caves calling.
She stepped off the shuttle, into the snowy woods, gazing into the caves. A whisper on the force called out to her. She drew her brown cloak tighter over her plain grey flightsuit and trudged on, moving with a deliberate determination towards the cave entrance....

Tin'tinag

Life is a queen, if not it would be to easy
The chilling wind blew across her orange Lekku as the dark robed Jedi disembarked the shuttle with the other present Jedi. the supposed ligh-saber crystal caves ever visible in the distance. Tin'tinag eyes looked to her saber, it had served her well but it was still the blade of a Ren, not a Jedi, and it needed to be change, as such the Jedi padawan volunteered to undertake this trip with other initiates.

"Gees this place is cold, then again isn't that how crystals from in the first place.... eh, what do I care", truth be told the Twi'lek Jedi was slightly nervous about what to was happen inside, the stories and tales of facing ones self on the inside, or confronting personal fears. Her mind raced away in the background as to what these may be, would she face a dark version of herself, on that would have come about from staying with the Ren, an apparition of her old master or memories of the past, from life on Ryloth.

'Alright calm down, no need to get worked up, you have dealt with worse, this is just a test, noting inside is real..... hopefully'.

She made her way through the snow, trudging past the drifts. As she walked she halted and glanced up, seeing the warm shafts of yellow light contrasting with the grey of foggy morning. This felt like a homely place for her and she wondered what it would take to colonize Enigma Prime. To create a stronghold from which to strike.

She shrugged those thoughts aside and continued deeper, pushing past the threshold. The cave grew warm enough that she was able to shed her cloak, carefully folding it and placing it down next to a stack of stones. The force was changing, flowing in a living vortex around her. She felt it connect to her and draw her pieces of herself out.

Dark thoughts, murder, altruism, saintliness. It was all laid bare at the forefront of her mind. How many men and women had she slain in her zealous missions? How many times had she shot down an enemy fighter, damning their souls to the black. How many times had her saber spared or taken a life, depending on her temperament?
Many.
So Many.

Rethinking and rehashing the last year of her life the Padawan trudged onwards, keeping a wary eye out for shining crystals in the cave walls...
