BIOGRAPHY:
Comes from a family of proud Correllian Patriots. By Correllian patriots she means the usual space hounds, rocket fuel for blood. Some of her family were proud, almost nationalistic in their ideals, joining CorSec or whatever passed for Correlian military and Intelligence. The multiple mergers of government has meant her family are adaptable to changing of buraecratic structure but are committed to doing the right thing.

Other branches of her family however are more… Independent. Which for Correllians is saying something/ This familial reputation on both sides lead Jayne to take her second husbands name.

Jayne idolised both branches, and managed as a juvenile to get in some trouble trying to impress one or either of them. Which one she wanted to impress more even she wasn’t sure. Nonetheless she picked up some street smarts, and learnt one or two useful skills.

It wasn’t until she was 17 after she left her first husband, that her grandfather sat her down and told her, no matter what side she was on she had to have a code. Something to guide her through life, that she needed something to anchor her, and a path to follow. She chose the law.

Jayne applied and got into CorSec academy as a science and law major. Turned out those times on the street she survived due a genius level intelligence, which didn’t come out until the aptitude tests. She got top marks in Engineering and Cybernetics, as well as in Intelligence and of course Law.

Joined CorSec, and was put through special training due to her being at the top of her class in almost all fields. Jayne was given basic tactical training that gave her an edge, on most and was put on an Emergency Reserve Responce Unit.

Jayne was put through the fast track. As a Seargent met her second husband, on an Interagency Task Force. Jayne was their Engineering and Cyber Holonet expert. As well as back up Tactical. Most of what they did together was and still is classified. Jayne felt increasingly uncomfortable with skirting the law, until one Slaving Ring, when she suddenly didn’t care so much about suspects rights. Nonetheless Jayne felt both rage and shame for her actions and requested out of the unit.

It was only once she was out of the unit she found out she was pregnant. After her daughter was born Jayne tried to be a good mother, her husband was a good father, but time and distance the marriage fell apart.

Jayne’s closer to home station was Customs and Border Patrol. It was usually seen as the dead posting job, as well almost every Corellian saw smuggling as a national time honoured tradition, some even called it a national duty. Including members of Jaynes family.

Jayne did her duty and followed the law, eventually she apprehended one of her family members. Even though she loved the law Jayne nevertheless fudged the paperwork and found a flimsy loophole of her being involved with the arrest of her family member being a conflict of interest.

After her daughter was old enough to go to school, specifically a military academy. Jayne grew bored in Customs, and applied to run her own Division, her request was granted. Unfortunately it was granted by her ex husband who became her immediate superior. They tried to keep it professional.

The Task Force was Interstellar,-Intelligence, Research and Development Division:

It’s goal was to analyse the Intersetellar positions, factions and technology. Discover, analyse anything that could either be beneficial or a threat to Correllia. Basically she got to fly all the cool new ships and test the cool new toys, and give approval or denyal of said technology, and her Task Force was consulted, and activated on any ops, missions or divisions that applied them.

In time rumours circulated about a new movement to restore the Republic. Jayne believing in the Republics ideals, legacy and reformation. The support of her, her influential family and her contacts,

was a crucial recruit for the resurrectionists, and vital for convincing, converting and recruiting key members of Corellia to join the movement.

When the Republic was reformed she gained the Rank of Director of Intelligence. As the Republic was reforming, it was clear that it would interact with other Interstella Governments. Having been through and survived the reformations of the Corellian Confederacy, The Republic, The High Republic. Jayne had little difficulty adapting to the Alliance.
