  • Utinni - Like many things created by Jawas, the Repair Rover shares many similarities, with the most glaring being that the vehicle apparently only properly works for Jawas. When in the hands of others, the Rover seems to become more finicky, break down much more readily, or somehow seem to refuse to work altogether.

  • Modularity - A true strength of the Rover is its apparent ease of being modified by the Jawas that operate the vehicle. This can stem from additional systems or parts that are added or removed at the whims of the Jawa currently in control. Even going so far as adding additional armor plating, or armaments as needed at the time, and just as quickly removed once their use is no longer required. While one Repair Rover may blaze across the featureless desert sands on Wheels, it's not entirely unheard of for one to be seen crawling across the sand like the larger Jawa Crawlers.

  • Magnetic Lift Crane - A common feature on many of the Repair Rovers is a magnetic lift crane that is utilized to lift up droids and other debris from the ground around the Rover. The lift is operated from a chair at the top of the crane and makes it easier to retrieve droids for repair.

  • Shock-Absorbers - To provide for a smoother ride, and assist in keeping things a bit more stable and prevent them from falling off the racks in the back, the Repair Rover has a system of shock absorbers. However, their actual use or otherwise their reliability depends heavily on how often they're repaired or replaced by the Jawas.

  • Utinni - Even in the adept hands of the Jawas that most frequently utilize these vehicles they seem to act up. Often just as finicky in the hands of Jawas, these vehicles seem to have a mind of their own. Some days they run without a problem, and other days it seems that even with a Jawa's steady hand constantly repairing and keeping the vehicle maintained, they stop operating just because the wind shifted in the wrong direction.

  • Roll Over - The high center of gravity of these vehicles makes them a rollover risk. While capable of reaching high speeds on flat terrain, it is highly suggested that they do not attempt to make a tight turn - or any turn for that matter - at these high speeds.

  • Not a Tank - Even with the additional armor plating and reinforced undercarriage, these vehicles are by no means a tank. Heavier munitions or a large enough explosive beneath the vehicle is more than enough to destroy the vehicle without a second thought.

UTINNI!

The cry of the Jawa can be heard though it seems much like a blur as a vehicle goes zipping pass at a far greater pace than any other vehicle that Jawas are known to frequent or utilize. These vehicles are different, faster than the Crawlers that most Jawas are fond of and frequently use to haul massive cargo of scrap, refurbished droids, and completely legal items that they totally and honestly, legally, found in their travels across a world. Be it on four wheels, or even ten wheels, the Jawa Repair Rover are often sent out ahead of Sandcrawlers, War Crawlers, and Command Crawlers - or at times in the hands of a lone intrepid and totally Honest Business Jawa such as Moe Uilor Moe Uilor - to provide reconnaissance and repair services for droids and other items in need of repair. Their greatest strength is in the hands that often create these vehicles, the Jawas, as the vehicles seem to otherwise be so finicky and temperamental as to not work for any being that is a Non-Jawa.

Like many things that Jawas touch or create - the Repair Rover - is highly modifiable, and often their appearance and function change just as quickly as the needs or whims of a Jawa seem to do so at that moment. Even if these vehicles had been conceived of and created by another species without the design or function of being modified, the Jawas seem to have found a way to ensure that they are, thus each Repair Rover is just as unique and different as the Jawa that touches them. The one feature here is a simple, commonly seen model; though like many things Jawas create, the vehicle is just as temperamental in the hands of a Jawa as it is in the hands of a Non-Jawa. These Repair Rovers can often break down simply because the wind shifted in the wrong direction or it felt like it didn't want to do anything.

More often than not, these vehicles are utilized to quickly locate, recover, repair, and deploy droids. It isn't uncommon to see such Rovers zipping across a battlefield in service to the CIS to pick up the Confederacy's droids, repair them, and quickly get them back into service. Even still, the Repair Rovers must rely on their speed and maneuverability more so than their armaments - as many of these vehicles carry no such weaponry - and their defenses, although reinforced, are still incapable of withstanding the heavier munitions and blasts often seen on a battlefield. However, it would seem that the greatest strength of all is the intrepid Jawas that clamber into these fast-moving vehicles and ply their totally honest and reliable profession in recovering and repair droids on the field of battle.
