  HISTORY​

  Jao was born in darkness. His mother, a Miraluka, his father a dark disciple of the Krath. His father was a cruel man, a product of his inferior position in the cult. When it became clear that Jao was Force sensitive as a toddler, his father trained him relentlessly. Jao was saved by the Jedi when they overthrew the Krath and liberated the world, but by then his mother was left a husk of a woman from the years of abuse. Jao was taken to the Jedi Order and raised within its walls with kindness and joy. It became his bulwark against the Dark, and so when he was old enough and experienced enough, he joined the Temple Guard. Now he serves the Jedi as a Bulwark against the same Darkness that once consumed his world.
