  • Intuitive: Easy to work with, the gloves are by design able to be easily adjusted to the owner’s needs, with capabilities to link to nearly anything that could further streamline the process. This includes AI/VI assistants, Helmet Interfaces, Bodygloves, Suits of Armor, and more. It even comes pre-built with Deda-Net throughout its system, oddly enough, allowing the seamless usage of the gloves to the point where it’s practically second-nature. This is especially the case when linked to an Intelligence of some kind.
  • Slicer’s Dream: Sporting a wide amount of equipment that are especially handy if software quick-hacks don’t seem to be doing the trick, the ‘Janus’ Slicer Gloves offer a skilled slicer many options for field operations while warding away malicious ones. Ultrachrome wiring makes its responsiveness lightning-fast
  • Death Grip: Through the use of a fine-tuned frequency mimicking that of a Force Pike, the glove outputs a devastating electrical shock meant to stun and subdue even a wookie. Should a target manage to withstand the initial shock, the electrical shock can be coursed through a subject with an impressive stopping power.

  • Power-Intensive: The electric grip is prone to draining the power from the glove in a very short amount of time, likely requiring a reboot of its systems if used for more than a few seconds. This can be mitigated if connected to a better power unit, but it’s advisable to use the Electric Pulser feature strictly for self-defensive or brief attacks.
  • Internal Components: While durable, it is ill-advised to let the gloves take significant amounts of head-on damage, especially from kinetic or blunt force. Without the usage of ‘hard’ armor to disperse impacts such as these, it’s very likely the complicated circuitry or components packed within the glove could be damaged and rendered inoperable by stronger weapons, thus requiring repair or replacement.
  • Weak Against: By design, the gloves are able to handle a wide variety of conventional attacks, especially EMP/Ion damage to avoid harm to the many electronics. However, there are several things that it offers significantly less protection against, such as Corrosive and Chemical agents, Disruptors (given there’s not enough energy-defying material present to completely defend against such a weapon), and Force abilities like Mechu-deru that could wreak havoc on the gloves’ systems.

A unique pair of gloves, the ‘Janus’ Slicer Gloves aim to offer as many tools as possible for your enterprising Slicer. Many of its systems are rather complex to navigate, but a skilled slicer would find the usage from such things easy.

Integrated with Deda-net, many of these tools are easily accessible and interact with frightening speed and responsiveness. Those experienced with the field would find the utilization of its repertoire second-nature - as easy as moving their hand about. Still, it takes some nuance to get used to how exactly the system functions, especially the interactable interface. Many of the systems are adapted from Droid interfaces, of which were repurposed to allow organic users to utilize their many useful functions. The interface projects what is similar to a ‘screen’ in front of a user, allowing them to directly visualize and interact with systems and the software affiliated with them.

Equipped with an array of Electric Pulsers, should the owner come under threat they could activate these with a simple command to electrocute (non-lethally) assailants. It takes a significant amount of power to do this in a smaller package though, and results in the disabling of the rest of the systems for a time. This makes it advisable for a last-ditch self-defense tool should the user find themselves in hand-to-hand combat, as all they'd need to do is grab on once.

An important feature of the gloves is that it is designed to seamlessly link with nearly anything under the sun. From bodygloves, helmet interfaces and HUDS, to armor suits, it’s very easy to fit it into one’s daily life. It is also designed to link incredibly well with an AI or VI, which can allow for one to streamline or automate the processes of the glove to a highly efficient degree. All-in-all, these gloves allow a slicer to exercise a wide range of flexibility while still being able to go rather under-the-radar. Perfect for clandestine operations.
