PERSONALITY
Jamie is impulsive, stubborn, and exhibits a toughened exterior due to the many losses she has endured through life. Those who have managed to grow closer to her, know that she is also a warm and compassionate individual, especially when it comes to her children - who often bring out her protective side. Growing up, both of her parents worked in the military for the Galactic Republic and she was raised on stories of heroism and valor. Thanks to their lessons, she has a strong sense of commitment and duty, but sometimes has trouble in following orders and has been known to blur the line when it comes to the good of her comrades or the good of the cause.
APPEARANCE
Jamie is a fairly typical example of a human female. She's slightly above average height with caramel brown hair that she often keeps pinned back. Most of her physical traits are taken from her father's side, except the blue eyes that came from her mother. Her skin has an olive undertone and tans easily but, she appears pale from spending extended periods of time in space. When not in uniform, she likes to dress in practical attire but enjoys dressing up when the occasion calls for it.
BIOGRAPHY
Jamie Perris is a fighter pilot, born and raised on Corellian soil. She served for the Republic before its fall as flight leader for The Blue Angels, then did a short stint for the Galactic Alliance before its subsequent downfall at the hands of the Sith Empire.

Born the twin of her brother James, their parents were Lieutenant Trenton Brend and Corporal Nalra Brend, who both served in the Republic Military. Jamie followed in her late Father’s footsteps and aspired to become a pilot, sharing Trenton's passion of flying any aircraft she could get her hands on. When she was old enough, Jamie enrolled at the Corellian Military Academy to pursue her dream. There, she excelled academically and surfaced at the top of her class in performance and skill. At eighteen years old, and during one of the school intersessions, she met her first husband CorSec officer, Kal El-Eison. The two grew close and married quickly, conceiving their first child earlier than either party was ready for, but the two of them did their best to work through the unplanned pregnancy and life was relatively happy for them both.
Sadly, nothing could prepare Jamie for the trials she'd soon face on her own, when a few weeks before the birth, Kal was outed as an active agent for the One Sith. Rather than being taken in for questioning, he took his life - solidifying his guilt in the eye of public opinion and leaving his widow and unborn son to answer for his sins.
Assumed to have been consumed by grief and shame, Jamie vanished from Corellia, only to resurface several years later after being cleared of any possible suspicion.
Once she was home, Jamie made the decision to continue pursuing her dream of becoming a pilot and signed up for active duty upon her return. Again, her skill as a pilot was noticed and Jamie was in short time transferred for a post on the Republic capital of Onderon, towing her young son Andrik along with her.
