SETTING INFORMATION
  • Military Base Name: Jaemus Droid Foundry
  • Classification: Droid Factory
  • Location: Jaemus
  • Affiliation: The Sith Empire | Jaemus Planetary Government
  • Population: Sparsely Populated; Only a few organic personnel are on site to oversee the foundry, as a majority of it is largely automated and self-sufficient.
  • Accessibility: The Jaemus Droid Foundry is strictly off limits to non-essential personnel and the public. Only high ranking officials and the like are permitted to gain access to the foundry for inspections.
  • Description: From the surface, there is not much that can be seen as the droid foundry is buried beneath a mountain range to not only protect it from visual line of sight from afar, but to also protect it from being attacked with the added protection of the natural environment it is built under. From the inside, the droid foundry spans the entire length of the mountain range, like a hidden spine, a constant moving of conveyor belts, mechanical limbs assembling parts and droids at every stage of completion. The factory is constantly in movement and filled with mechanized creations built for war.
POINTS OF INTEREST

Droid Production Lines
  • The Droid Production Lines are hidden underneath the surface of a large mountain range, a large complex that puts together and primarily assembles the main droid infantry units utilized by the Sith Empire, that being the SE-K9 'Fang' Wardroids.
Deployment Bay
  • Once the droids have been completed, they are stored in deployment racks or marched to the Deployment Bay. The Deployment Bay is a massive series of craters artificially created. Here starships can land and load their hangars with droid infantry and be taken wherever they are needed for battlefield deployment.
Energy Farm
  • The Jaemus Droid Foundry has a massive series of power generators that outputs the power needed to run and maintain the entire installation. It is well fortified and protected, buried deeper into the planet's surface to remove any chance of it being struck by any form of harm from above ground.
Droid Reserves
  • Though unlikely, the JDF houses thousands of inactive units that can be activated in response to any planetary threat and be deployed to counter resistance. These reserves serve as a backup and makeshift army to defend the facility or planet should the need arise.

SECURITY

[High] Security is fairly tight across the Jaemus Droid Foundry, a number of both organic and mechanical patrols maintaining constant watch over the facility. Patrol swaps are randomized and violators/trespassers are given a singular warning to vacate and leave the premise. Failure to do so often results in execution on site. Its location is unknown to the public, so it does not receive many tresspassers.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Jaemus Droid Foundry [JDF] was built in secret on the planet Jaemus in order to assist the Sith Empire's ever-growing war machine, producing thousands of SE-K9 'Fang' wardroids for use by their armies. Buried deep within a large mountain range, the JDF is responsible for a large percentage of the Sith Empire's most commonly produced droid in order to keep their numbers flush with droid units to be sent to the front lines and strike fear into the hearts and minds of their enemies.

The largely automated factory works tirelessly day and night to fuel the ambitions of the Sith Empire by producing more disposable infantry to supplement the Legion and Armada. The few organics assigned to the Foundry are strictly loyal to the planetary governor and the Sith Empire, ensuring that the secrecy of the location is known only to a select few. A majority of these individuals are pilots who ferry the droids from their deployment hangar and distribute their numbers across Sith space.

Induction points receive raw material on a daily basis from regular shipments made to Jaemus in order to keep the production lines constantly abuzz. Large exhaust pipes that redirect excess heat lead out to natural craters formed around the area that constantly spew out steam, making them excellent for hiding any suspicious activity. The few organics that manage the foundry always keep in touch with the Sith Empire to stay updated on the supply and demand for droids as well as where they should prioritize the shipments of them to.
