Jade moon, where fates collide and battles begin

Right now, Cecilia's priorities had shifted from 'interact with force users on this moon to learn more about the force' to 'leave this place as quickly as possible so that she didn't get killed by said force users.' Meraal Vaun, or as Cecilia knew him, the man to her right, had just provided the perfect opportunity, and the last thing that she was going to let slip away was her chance to slip away. She reached into the pack behind her, grabbing the hydrospanner she kept in the smaller pouch in its rear (important things should never require rummaging), as she walked towards the man.
"Here you go." She said, offering it out to him. "Although I don't know how good you are at repairing whatever you want to fix. If you need help, I'll probably be able to offer it"

Then, in a much quieter voice, one the others could not have heard, but the man should have she said something that probably surprised the man: "Actually I don't have any idea what is actually happening here, and I don't know how safe it is for us to stay." She figured the man was, like her, more or less a civilian, who like her wanted to leave, now. In her lack of experience, she missed the practiced way that the stranger was handling his rifle and the calmness of his movements and breathing that would have told a more experienced observer that this man was no stranger to combat or danger. In fact, a more experienced person might think that flight was the last thing on his mind.

Even as she said this, she turned to the group in front of them, looking to see what had happened during her brief exchange with this stranger.

Kenshin lowered his lightsaber, and then pressed the button on it's hilt. The blade of piercing blue energy shortened then dissipated. He opened a door to the side of his, and then walked in.

"I believe that this is where the artefact is. It is only right that we find out what it is before we fight over it."

Kenshin approached an alter in the centre of the room. On it, 5 Quixoni crystals were held. They were powerful lightsaber crystals capable of somewhat enhancing darkside abilities. They were a crimson red, the same colour as the blade they produced. Kenshin stands in front of the alter, and re-ignites his blade.

"Turn back now. These crystals are not worth your time."

Kal sttod silent, watching the jedi and the crystals alike.

When he was at the jedi acadamy, his master had made comment about his problems with anger and rage. According to them, it was a desciple of the dark side. They taught him ways to restrain it. But this? This was a joke. Some kind of crude attempt at making a dark jedi laugh.

"I did not travel half way accross the galaxy..." Kal started, calmly before losing his temper "For a few karking crystals!!"

The jedi in front of him was all his attention and he paid no mind to the rest. "But you... A man like you must know something more. You didn't come here to protect lightsaber crystals... Theres something else here. isnt there?' Kal spat out, unleashing his lightsaber and pointing the orange blade at the jedi.

"Put that away, there is no need for violence here." Alien words from a man who once exuded violence, worshiped it even, but Marcus spoke them all the same to [member="Kal Brennet"] as he followed into the temple. He'd have responded to [member="Darth Ronan"] but all had happened so quickly, they'd all rushed into the temple and the battered man had followed.

Behind him he sensed the Mandalorian, [member="Meraal Vaun"] as well as [member="Cecilia Wissen"]. Both were connected to the force, as seemingly all those here were, but the former was the more interesting to Faust. A warrior with no home to go back to, a Mandalorian who could never step foot on Mandalore, how terrible. The Mandalorian Empire had made its view of the force abundantly clear when it began its 'curing' of those attuned to the all surrounding energy. It was monstrous, but at the same time understandable, it brought great chaos but after all the times the force had been abused to scar the warrior people, it was hard to say the ban was unwarranted.

"Go in peace lost soul, what you need is not a weapon." Kal had destruction written all over him, whatever he desired would only bring chaos and sorrow, no doubt he would fail to achieve his goal, though it was still too abstract to sense what it was exactly Marcus could already sense how many powerful people would be required to die. People Brennet did not have a hope to match. "You must find a path of understanding." The Guardian added, before turning his scarred visage to [member="Kenshin Mamoru"].

"Come, pay no mind to his threats, and we will dispose of those things. This is the will of the force." He spoke, beckoning for the Jedi to come with him, away from the darksiders, and those like [member="Typhon Nebulos"] and the young [member="Caseek Vadu"]

There was a moment of silence, which was soon broken. "Not if I have anything to say for it!". Caseek said. "Ugh, why did I use that as an opening line?" Caseek thought to himself. "I'm taking one of those crystals whether you like it or not." Caseek quickly regreted his words, he did not think this through at all. There was no time for thinking, it was now or never!

With his heart pounding like a madman, and without thinking twice, He made a run for the altar.

Meraal had always tried to pay back the Sith wherever he could. They had destroyed his best oppurtunity to learn more about the force and how he could use it during the One Sith invasion, and they had killed plenty of mandalorians he had fought beside over the years. Even if he could no longer fight beside his own people, the emotions of old battles were still there.

More than his own life may have been at risk in this moment. The repairs he needed to make on his ship provided a great excuse for himself and the woman whispering to him to slip away. She had told him that she didn't know how safe it was for them to stay. Meraal assumed that this woman was a force user, and if so she was probably more experienced in the force than himself. Which meant she might be picking up more than Meraal was in this situation, and there might be more to this that she wasn't able to tell him in front of the others.

Meraal had a hand on the hydrospanner was about to accept the woman's offer to help him when he thought he heard what he assumed was a Jedi say

"Go in peace lost soul, what you need is not a weapon."

It might not have been safe for her here, and without his armor it certainly wasn't safe for him, but if the Sith had found a weapon here, he would die to stop them from finding it and killing more people.

Meraal handed the woman back her hydrospanner and looked into her blue eyes, trying not to let the sudden anger he felt show in his own. "I think I'm going to have to make the repairs later. Go ahead if you want, it's an ancient ARC-170, ugliest thing planetside. If you find any Sith loitering around the fighter, don't let them get what's in the rear cockpit. Blow it up if you have to.

Meraal walked past the woman and entered the Temple, he realized if he immediately started attacking the Sith it would most likely result in death, but he had to stop them somehow. Before he had time to try to talk with one of the Jedi and ask how he could help, one of the Sith made a mad dash for what looked like an altar. Time for thinking was over, instinct kicked in.

Meraal moved to paces forward and dropped to a crouch, he aimed his rifle at the running Sith's torso and let his finger slowly pull back the trigger. He fired a single bolt toward his target on the DC15-AB's minimum power setting.

As Caseek was running to the altar he saw the man with the big blaster getting into attack position. Before Caseek knew it a bolt was inches away from his body. He cast his lightsaber in an attempt to defend himself, but he wasn't quick enough. He got hit right in the torso, I didn't hurt too much but the knockback of the shot along with the fact that he was running made it so that he flew into the backwall of the room. His lightsaber scorched against the wall cracking it up a bit.

"Why did I ever think that that was a good idea?" He thought. He stood absolutley no chance against any of these people, especially now. But he still didn't wanna just give up, not after having gone all this way. Caseek was out of plans, noone was probably gonna get their hands on those crystals, not with those Jedi around. Then again, were these even the "artifact" they were looking for?

There was not much else he could do now but wait if he wanted to have any chance of leaving this place with something of value. So that's what he did, he was once again silently waiting in the back of the room.
As he sat there he turned off his lightsaber and murmured a few curse words, occasionally sighing.

Darth Ronan

"If ever a face meant death, if looks could kill,
Ronan looked all around at the things happening near him, All the talking the igniting of lightsabers got him riled up, he couldn't hold back, he just wanted the crystals that laid within the temple without fighting, without a doubt Ronan could easily take on the former master that was here, but why would Ronan try to fight him? It was useless to fight someone without a real reason.

Ronan slowly walked into the temple as other's were doing and saw a Bounty Hunter from what it looked like- Or was it just a Merc, Ronan walked behind the Merc getting close to where his head was and whispered, "Do not fire a single blaster bolt in this temple- If you do I will murder everyone you love, you desire and you lust, and I will not give you the sweet release of death nor will I give it to your loved ones, I will tortue them in pain watch them cry and out thrive for forgiveness and I will make them watch" Ronan said while using Force Fear on the Merc infront of him ([member="Meraal Vaun"])

Ronan then stood up walking further into the temple where everyone was, he saw the crystals the reason he came here, "Why dispose of them? They're here for a reason are they not? They're here to be claimed- Just give me one of the crystals and I'll be on my way." Ronan said looking all around with a calm stature painted along his figure. "I don't wish to fight- I just wish for the crystal, I don't kill for a random reason." Ronan said. Ronan stood next to [member="Caseek Vadu"]

Now hopefully they could give him what he wanted.

Just like men, to walk into a battles they had no chance of winning. What an idiot. Cecilia thought as the man walked away. Still she had to respect him for it. It seemed to her that he might know how risky his actions were, but was going in anyways to stand for his ideals. She caught up to him just as he shot [member="Caseek Vadu"] . Cecilia noticed the Sith try to block the blaster shot with his saber, and although he had failed, Cecilia had heard tales of Jedi and Sith being able to return blaster bolts with the same deadly accuracy with which they were fired. That said, she had also heard a smuggler from a few weeks back say something about how slugthrowers couldn't be deflected, after ragging on his companion for carrying a one instead of a blaster. It was only a rumor but...

"Here." said Cecilia, tossing her slugthrower to the man's right. An extra magazine soon followed. "30 rounds, 60 meters. Not the time, but my name is Cecilia Wissen. If you don't die, maybe we can talk, but for now, I've got a ship to fix. Then maybe destroy again."

As Cecilia ran back towards where the man's ship was, she hoped that whatever it was in that ship that he wanted to keep from the Sith could help them somehow. Although she supposed that whatever it was, if it would have helped, he would have brought it. Little did she know that [member="Meraal Vaun"] very much would have wanted what was on his ship, or at least his armor, but was defeated by a malfunctioning hatch. If Cecilia figured this out, maybe her hydrospanner's plasma cutter could help.

So, as she ran towards the ship, hoping that no one tried to intercept her, she wondered what would be in store for her once she got on board.

Meraal heard Cecilia, but didn't have the power to tell her his own name or even thank her for the slugthrower before she was gone. His mind was seized by overwhelming terror. Images that he had been trying for years to cope with were resurfacing in his mind. Comrades torn to shreds by grenades, villages reduced to ash because of foolish, greedy conquests that he had fought for, the population of several cities destroyed in a single fleet confrontation, lightsabers decapitating people Meraal had fought alongside with for years.

Meraal didn't know how to overcome this nauseating fear, and the images began going through his head even faster. The speed of his nightmares was now dizzying and from his crouch he fell to his knees. Meraal had to push his arms out to stop himself from hitting his head on the ground, but he wasn't able to stop himself from vomitting bile onto the ground. Then the images stopped and only one image remained in his mind, the Jedi temple burning on Coruscant. The fear focused, initially it was a fear of all Sith, but Meraal had fought Sith, and he had never felt this afraid facing any of them, it narrowed down further to the Sith he had met, and then it narrowed even more to only the Sith in this room, and then a single Sith was the only thing he saw in both his mental and physical visions.

The Sith that had just threatened him was the only thing he saw now, but when he looked at him he didn't feel fear. He felt only hate and anger as he looked the towering Sith dead in his eyes,

"You think I have anyone left to care for? Your kind has prevented me from ever living a normal life, even among my own people."

The overwhelming fear returned, if there really was a weapon stored here, the Sith hand found it. Meraal still didn't know what the artifacts here were, and for all he knew it could have been a pointy stick, but the extreme fear and paranoia from the mind trick was still strong. Meraal now looked to the two other men in the room who he believed were not Sith, "Why are you guarding this place? What are you protecting?"

Typhon would know of what the crystals were, the moment he saw their shape and size. The very first thought was this was reckless, and was now becoming a life or death situation after the blaster being fired and the sabers being ignited. He didn't want to have to fight anyone, but to work with them would be even worse.

Typhon slowly irked closer to the crystals, and when the moment was right, he pulled two of them into his hand with the force. He slipped the crystals into his robe pockets and then said,

"One for me, one for the market. I'll be off now, are there any objections?"

Meraal slowed his breathing and tried using a meditation technique that he had learned from his single week at the Jedi temple. While a figure approached the altar, Meraal felt his fear slowly subsiding. It was then that Meraal looked up and saw [member="Typhon Nebulos"] using the force to pick up two small red objects that he put two and two together.

"No kriffing way... That's it?"

Meraal couldn't believe it. He had went through emotional chaos to stop the Sith from obtaining lightsaber crystals. For the first time Meraal fully looked over the Sith he had shot, and it was a kid. He suddenly felt more sick than he had just moments before when he was on the ground throwing up. Meraal wiped the vomit on his hands off on the ground, grabbed his rifle and the slugthrower and stood up. Looking at [member="Caseek Vadu"], he said, "Hey kid, I uh.. I didn't think this was just going to be some crystals. Get some bacta soon or that'll hurt a lot worse in the morning." It was the closest thing to an apology the young Togruta would get from Meraal.

With the Sith's fear now fully out of his mind, and his reasoning back under control, Meraal realized that the last thing he had told [member="Cecilia Wissen"] was to blow up his ship, and on that thought he ran out of the abandoned temple in a full sprint toward where he landed.

Fortunately for [member="Meraal Vaun"] , Cecilia's primary concern was fixing his ship. While she enjoyed blowing things up an much as the next person, she figured that the man would be not at all happy if she blew up his ship for no reason. By the time that Meraal had started to sprint over, Cecilia had just boarded the ship and was beginning to search for the problem(whatever it was) by the time she had found it, Meraal would most likely have caught up to her.

Kenshin trembled. He knew that the crystals were probably not the item as much as the others, but he still needed to protect them.

[member="Typhon Nebulos"] took the crystals just past Kenshin.

"Hand the crystals back."

Whilst waiting for a response, Kenshin examined the room. In the corner he noticed something. A Holocron.

OOC: Really sorry, to begin with those crystals were the best thing I could find until I found a thread on player artefacts. I'll let you guys find out what's within the holocron once someone gets it.

Darth Ronan

"If ever a face meant death, if looks could kill,
Darth Ronan eyes narrowed to something else in the room, he didn't want the crystals, he wanted the holocron, the only thing he wanted was the Holocron and he would go through life and death for it.

Ronan narrowed his eyes to Kenshin, "Give me the Holocron, I wish not to fight, I only crave knowledge, I do not wish to kill you-I am giving you a warning." Ronan said as he used force illusion to create a illusion that he was still talking infront of Kenshin.

Ronan would then use Force Cloak while making the illusion, he would slowly walk over to the holocron feeling it before grabbing it and stopping the illusion and uncloaking,"Like I said- Only the holcron we need no death today" Ronan said his words painted with calmness."I will be taking this unless there are objections, I wish not to use this knowledge for malice ideas only to gain and learn" Ronan said having the Holocron still within his hand.

Typhon would examine what was happening. He'd remain calm and emotionless.

"The holocron is not of my concern, I'm here for the crystals. I have no objection."

He would raise his arm in a forward motion at [member="Kenshin Mamoru"] and force push him into the wall behind him.

"I will be taking these crystals, Jedi."

About 350 Meters Away from the Fun
Meraal had spent about a minute or two at a dead sprint when he got a first glimpse of his ship and started yelling at the top of his lungs. "WAIIIIT! WAIT! DON'T BLOW UP MY KARKING SHI-"

His last word was cut short when he got close enough to see that [member="Cecilia Wissen"] was still too close to his ship for her to safely detonate everything he owned. Nevertheless, he kept running until he was practically on top of his fighter's cockpit.

Meraal started to give the slugthrower back to Cecilia, but then stopped himself and quickly inspected the weapon to make sure no vomit had gotten on it. "Actually, I should probably clean this up real quick..", he muttered, reaching into the copilot cockpit to grab his rifle case and a flask.

He popped open the rifle case, and pulled out his blaster cleaning kit. With a sigh, he offered the unopened flask to Cecilia. Since she didn't blow up all of his earthly possessions, it was only kind to share.

"Tihaar? It's a Mandalorian beverage, best in the galaxy."

OOC: Got my old writer account back, going to be posting in thread as [member="Mereel Vaun"] for now on.

Marcus sighed in annoyance, a hand shot out and in an instant [member="Typhon Nebulos"] would be targeted by a wave of pure telekinetic force, far more than enough to send him into one of the ancient walls and leave the duracrete with a nasty new crack. The antics of the latecomer had be irksome to say the least, but now the man thought he would make and run? That he could simply push his way out? No, Marcus would not be allowing that. "You won't actually." The Guardian remarked, his coarse voice echoing a bit louder now.

[member="Kenshin Mamoru"] surely could deal with the arrogant delinquent Faust had in all likely just broken the ribs of, the scarred man had bigger concerns, that of [member="Darth Ronan"]. "It is not your way to learn for learning's sake, knowledge is a weapon, and not one such as yourself is fit to wield." Marcus said firmly, stepping directly into the path of the Sith. "With Sith, there is always suffering, always malice, that is the way of things. If it is not yours, then you are no Sith at all."

Both hands on the walking stick, he stared down the Sith with utter indifference. The force's will was his own, he was an extension of the force, there to serve it humbly. And currently, it demanded he not let the dark sider leave the desolate facility with the ancient knowledge. Who was he to refuse?

Darth Ronan

"If ever a face meant death, if looks could kill,
"With Sith, there is always suffering, always malice, that is the way of things. If it is not yours, then you are no Sith at all." Ronan looked at the Guardian with a smirk and started laughing he then looked at the guardian, "If you think that of the sith then you are dumber then you look, your masters before clearly have brainwashed you into thinking one version of the sith- you are a pathetic master, You clearly know not the ways of the sith- only what the Jedi think you pathetic insect." Ronan said with a laugh

"You do not deserve to be called Jedi or even Guardian you are a disgrace, even when I was a Jedi I knew of the Sith more then you- they tried to brainwash you- you clearly don't know anything but us or what we do you have one stuck image." Ronan said with a venomous tone within his voice

"Now can I get through or I will I have to fight you?" Ronan said with clear intent in his voice
