Jacero is usually easy company. He likes people, conversation and attention, and tends to meet tension with a grin before anything more confrontational. Flirting and teasing come naturally to him. So does lying when the truth seems inconvenient, useful or simply less entertaining.Jace has spent years deliberately putting himself in situations most people would avoid. Heights, speed and very little room for error hold a genuine appeal for him. Much of his strength sits through his shoulders, back and arms, while the rest of his physique is geared toward acceleration, balance and controlling his own weight through vertical spaces.His usual clothing follows the same priorities: fitted layers, reinforced boots, gloves, utility straps and a cropped charcoal jacket carrying the yellow-gold striping that has become something of a visual signature.
He tends to carry himself with an easy, loose confidence, and there is usually a smile ready somewhere beneath the surface, especially when things start getting interesting.

Jace was born on Denon to Kage parents who had left Quarzite before he was born. The Savis built a stable life there, both working in corporate freight accounting and audit. Manifests, shipping costs, inventory discrepancies and ownership records were ordinary conversation in their home, and Jacero picked up more of it than he ever intended to. He was good with numbers. He was considerably less interested in spending his life behind a desk.

ARCHIVE//02 — THE NIGHT SHIFT
As a teenager he started exploring the parts of Denon most people only noticed when something broke: maintenance routes, roofs, service passages, transit structures and the gaps between one level of the city and the next. Illegal races followed. The destination was fixed, the route was not, and Jace proved very good at finding ways through places that were never meant to be crossed quickly.
Racing led to courier work, then deliveries where access mattered as much as speed. Better-paying jobs asked him to get into places rather than merely reach them. His parents worried, argued and made it clear what they thought of some of his choices, but their home remained his.

The district where the Savis lived was eventually marked for corporate redevelopment. Pressure on the remaining residents built gradually. Properties around them changed hands, offers came through, and those who remained found increasingly little room to refuse them.
Jace was away from home when the clearance finally happened. One of his parents contacted him after security personnel arrived and the situation outside began to deteriorate. He told them he was coming.
By the time Jace reached home, both of his parents were dead. He knows why security was there and where his parents died. What happened between their arrival and his own remains buried somewhere behind contradictory reports, missing footage, contractors and corporate paperwork.

At first Jacero tried the ordinary routes. He requested records, followed filings and spoke to people attached to the clearance. It got him very little. Company representatives redirected him, employees protected their own positions, and anyone who might have known something had reasons not to become involved.
He also had no leverage. Jacero Savi was nobody: no influence, no useful reputation and nowhere near enough money to make somebody else's risk worthwhile. The questions stayed with him while the rest of his life kept moving.

Courier work had already taught Jace how much information moved with cargo. His parents had taught him how to read the paperwork around it. The combination made him useful in ways that went beyond climbing through windows: manifests showed where something was supposed to be, corporate filings showed who claimed to own it, and discrepancies often showed where the interesting part had been hidden.
Over the next several years he built the reputation he had lacked after the clearance. Fixers began returning calls. Clients vouched for him. Brokers who would once have ignored him became willing to listen. Some of the work eventually came through intermediaries carrying contracts that originated with Nebula, then head of Crimson Dawn. Jace never joined the organisation, but being trusted with that level of work gave his name considerably more weight elsewhere.

ARCHIVE//06 — MOMENTUM
Jace is still independent and intends to stay that way. The jobs are better now, the contacts are better and, more importantly, he is finally useful enough that people with access have a reason to hear him out. The questions surrounding his parents have never stopped mattering; he has simply reached the point where pursuing them no longer means knocking on doors that remain closed.
His developing relationship with Dominique Vexx may be the first credible route past that ceiling. She knows the corporate world from the inside and has access Jace does not. He has not yet decided how much of the clearance to place in her hands, and he is well aware that helping him could also serve interests of her own. Mutual benefit does not especially trouble him. What matters is whether the trail finally moves.

Jace is best suited to work where access is difficult and the route matters as much as the objective. Dense city environments favour him heavily, especially when a job rewards climbing, speed, improvisation or an ability to read the freight and corporate systems surrounding a target.
He remains deliberately independent. His reputation is established enough that fixers return calls, clients provide referrals and brokers are willing to hear him out, but he has shown little interest in turning that access into permanent employment or formal membership.
