STRENGTHS

• Hotness: Nubian Yachts are the epitome of function and design, and many people will be smitten upon seeing one in person. You can open quite a few doors by bartering this. But can you endure the pain of losing true love?
• Ankle Biter: Unlike nearly all other Royal Naboo Starships, this one comes armed with a pair of laser cannons
• Aegis. Possesses powerful shields
• The Jeff Goldblum Experience: The speed and agility of a fly, enabling it to potentially out run and out pilot even the most modern Interceptor (Unfortunately it cannot vomit acid on a rival's hand) Use the SLAM and its speed jumps to extreme)

WEAKNESSES

• Age Issues: These unsecured examples often date back to the Clone Wars, and while they often still fly as perfectly as the day they were constructed due to their extreme quality, they still require more frequent tune ups and check ups after every flight, leading to them being taken out only when necessary, as they can be expensive to maintain. It's laser cannons also over heat if fired for more than ten seconds, and need thirty seconds to cool down.
• Repair Limits: While Slightly more forgiving than other Royal Yachts in that it can be restored to emergency function with off the shelf parts if damaged, don't expect anywhere near the same performance. It'll be enough to get you to the nearest star base but not much more. You'll need real Star skiff parts for best results
• Acquisition Difficulty: May Be the most difficult of all Naboo Vessels to obtain, as there are very few examples they have not accounted for. What vessels that are unaccounted are often in the most severely guarded locations imaginable, in long ago secured hidden hangars for doomsday scenarios in the event the Capital of Naboo is overwhelmed, hangars even the Royalty forgot about. Only the toughest challenge awaits in acquiring one, more so in that they can often only be acquired on Naboo itself, and as they are the property of the Naboo Royalty, flying one in their space means they'll try to confiscate it. Any discovered offworld examples are often still highly secured areas and are once in a lifetime finds
• Gollum Syndrome: A lot of people can fall too much in love with it, leading to them obsessively try to steal it, as it is their precious. Heck, even The Owner might be at risk of this if they love the ship enough to try and get it back. But really, can you blame them?
• Weapon power: Not much more power than what is necessary to bring down a starfighter or maybe something the same size, it'll never scratch anything bigger, and the cannons are relatively short range, just enough to take an interceptor in a pitched dog fight
• SLAM issues (The SLAM can only be used for 30 seconds, and causes significant imbalance in speed and agility

DESCRIPTION

Developed near the end of the Clone Wars due to the Klendathu Drop levels of violence , the J-Type Star Skiff remains the only Nubian Royal Yacht from that era to be armed with laser cannons, examples from that era often have minor discoloration around the engines and weapon ports, meaning someone wasn't having a good time. They are often still in near perfect working order due to sheer quality, and can sell for up to 2 billion on the Black Market due to their rarity. A sign that even a peaceful culture can recognize when the time for talk has ended, whether that is tragic or not is an observation best left to whoever runs into one...or who owns it.
