| Personality |
Prior to joining the Jedi Order, Izo was an enthusiastic idealist who believed that peace and diplomacy could fix the problems of the galaxy, and was unable to understand the concepts of violence and despotism. However; after the violent death of his parents at the hands of a pro-Sith insurgent organization on Ryloth, he fell into a seclusion and began to reevaluate everything he believed in, and when he came out he still believed in his utopian ideals of peace and diplomacy, but he now had a sliver of cynicism embedded into his being that made him question everything, even the Force, before placing trust in any form of faith.

The inability of the Jedi Order to stand in the overwhelming assault of the Sith had also shaken Izo's confidence in the order that he had spent a good portion of his life serving, and the murder of his master at Kashyyyk was the final nail in the coffin that led to Izo abandoning the Jedi to become a wandering exile.

Izo was like any other Rutian Twi'lek, his skin was blue and his body was bereft of any form of body hair. Typically Izo preferred to have both of his lekku wrapped around his neck like a scarf, but from time to time he let both of them run freely down his back. Sometimes he would even wear a basic black headdress that covered his scalp and lekku in varying patterns. For clothes he wears a skin-tight black bodysuit with black leather gloves, black leather boots, a brown leather belt and harness with a a blaster holster, and a durasteel gorget that is amde up of two different sections of metal that surround his neck and upper chest and are fastened to his body by leather straps. He once wore the earth-hued robes of a Jedi, but abandoned them after he left the Jedi Order.

| History |

Izo Chuka was born as Izoc'huka on the Twi'lek homeworld of Ryloth in 824 ABY, and from an early age was immediately identified as Force sensitive by his parents, but for several years they kept him away from the Jedi Order until he was eight years old. Eventually, however; they knew that he would have to join the Order, as it was a better existence than the meager one they barely lived out on Ryloth, and after a quick meeting with representatives from the Order Izoc'huka was taken from Ryloth and enrolled in the Jedi Enclave at Cularin. While being older than several of the initiates at the Enclave, Izo showed an immense interest to learn and become more acquainted with the Jedi's teachings of peace, the memories of the hardships on Ryloth still fresh in his young mind. He was horrified at the horrible atrocities committed to his people, especially the acts of slavery imposed upon many of his people, and he had dreams to one day break that stranglehold on his people.

At the age of eleven Izo was transferred to study under Jedi Master Yozua, a female Mirialan who had escape the Imperial occupation on her homeworld, and also had dreams to one day free her people from Imperial oppression. She was a combat specialist, and begun to teach Izo the basics of hand-to-hand combat, and combat with melee weapons starting first with various vibroweapons. At the age of fourteen Izo embarked on his personal quest to Ilum to assemble his own lightsaber under his Master's watchful gaze, and in the dark caves of Ilum he chose a cyan crystal, and forged his lightsaber in the ancient temple within the caves. When he and his master returned from their journey, they were shocked to learn that the Sith had returned after their defeat several years earlier, and in a bold strike they had taken Coruscant right out from under the Republic's nose, and had launched a war against the defenders of peace.

Izo was still too untrained to be sent to the front lines, so most of his time during the war was spent training at the enclave at Cularin, and traveling with his master to deal with internal unrest on Republic worlds. To his dismay, many of these acts of unrest were spurred on by cultists in league with the One Sith, specifically a dastardly cult that worshiped one of the Sith Lords of the One Sith who had become infamous for his butchery and brutality, the Vornskr'ei. Four years into the war Izo's entire world was rocked to it's foundations after he discovered that both of his parents had been slain by pro-Imperial insurgences on Ryloth who had come to enslave them. His parents had retaliated, and for that they were shot dead and left to rot in the harsh wilds of Ryloth. Despite his Jedi training, Izo fell into a despair that was only roused by his Master's reassurance and confidence in the face of seemingly insurmountable adversity, and thus Izo managed to move past their deaths.

However; tragedy would not end for Izo, and in the sixth year of the war he would suffer the loss of his Master at the Battle of Kashyyyk. Yozua was present at the Republic stronghold of Yugwaaargh, and was one of the many to die at the hands of the Yuuzhan Vong suicide bombers. Ultimately disheartened by this final loss, Izo abandoned the Jedi Order and went into hiding out in the Inner Rim to seek solace and perhaps find some answers, but his quest was cut short by the sudden disappearance of billions across the entire galaxy, which quickly was plunged into chaos and anarchy.

| Lightsaber Training |

During his time as a Jedi Padawan Izo focused more on the aspects of Lightsaber dueling rather than those of the Force outside of the basic, and thus by the time he reached his second decade of life he had already mastered one of the seven forms of Lightsaber combat, but was skilled in others. That mastered form was Shii-Cho, the most basic of Forms taught to all neophytes of the Jedi Order, and one that all were expected to master by the time they reached adulthood. Besides his mastery in Form I he was also competent in Form III and Form IV, which he all used in conjunction to make up his personalized dueling form, but it was still untested against a real opponent like a Sith.

| Force Abilities |

Preferring to focus more on dueling than the Force, Izo had a limited amount of knowledge other than the very basics. He was proficient in telekinesis enough to push and pull objects as large as a person around with minimal effort, and he was able to use the Force to augment his speed, jump long distances and high up into the air, and he could alter the inertia of his body to run across walls and ceilings. Perhaps the other skill he had other than the basics of the Force was Force Valor, which allowed his body to function at a higher capacity that it could do otherwise, but he only used it when it was absolutely necessary.
