Casi was in her new dormitory room feeling a little lost. Her aunt had dropped her off but could not linger to show the young girl around. Now she was sitting on the small bed looking around the room and uncertain what to do with herself. She didn't know anybody in the Temple yet and honestly she hadn't wanted to come today. Her parents were still in the hospital on Theed and Casi wanted to be with them. Her aunt insisted though and so Casi was brought here against her will. She signed and looked at the other bed in the room. Did she have a roommate?

She got up and crossed to the window and folded her arms. The large city planet bustled outside, uncaring and unknowing of her current frustrations. She turned her back on it and sighed. Maybe she could find the cafeteria and get something to eat.

Delta-7​

Being a perfect student and the brother of a member of the Jedi council made Jalen the reliable padawan. He was okay with that, ultimately. It helped him improve at interacting with others, so there wasn't much in the way of complaining he could do on that regard. One thing he often volunteered for was delivering care packages to new arrivals. Padawans came in all the time, many of whom were adjusting to the brand new environment for the first time. The masters often organized things that would help them settle in. So he was here to delivered such things. It wasn't a crazy amount of things, a few books, some guides for navigating the temple, some snacks... all stored in simple bag.

It was probably the thought that counted more. Jalen couldn't really say. He was a medic first and foremost. This was just something he did in his freetime.

Jalen would arrive at the door of the new arrival, giving a gentle knock to the door.

"Uh, care package!" Jalen announced.

"Uh, care package!" Jalen announced.

Cora turned the corner, stopped, and smiled. She'd been on her way to the library to return an armful of tomes when she heard a familiar voice. At the far end of the hall, Jalen had approached the dorm of a temple newcomer.

It was nice to see Jalen extending a proper welcome. Despite his sassy streak, he'd always had a good heart.

As she paced down the hall toward Jalen, Cora readjusted the pile of books in her grasp. The Knight was once new here, too.

[Aris Noble]

Aris being a perfect student, and the son of member's of the Jedi Council made him quite the reliable Padawan. But that made him rather separated from his peers, especially with his seemingly cold attitude. He was too focused on facts, he learned. If he wanted to make more friends, he needed to at least let that wall down. Who better to help him with that than his sister?

He smiled as he looked to her as they walked through the halls to the new room. "Do you think we'll make fast friends? That's the term, right?"

Then, he knocked on the door. "Care package!" Then blinked as he looked to Jalen, who had done the same at the same time.

"What?" Vera perked a brow at his question. What was he on about all of a sudden? Was this really her brother, or had some strange spirit possessed him? Vera squinted at him for a moment and then turned her gaze back down the hallway. Fuzzy, her little Racyon companion, was shifting around inside her backpack, likely because he had been woken from his nap. She'd have to give him snackies soon, or risk him growing chaotic.

Together, the two Nobles soon reached the door, where Aris...

"...Aris." Vera tilted her head. "You're such a dweeb."

Casi was about to open the door and head to find the cafeteria when suddenly there were two knocks on her door. She jumped, slightly startled and looked at the door. Care packages? From who? Her parents were in comas so she doubted them.

She opened the door and peeked out, surprised to find the hallway full of people.

“Umm… hello?”

As soon as she opened the door the cool air from the hallway came in and she shivered. Casi had suffered nerve damage due to her time in stasis and her body temperature was several degrees lower than it should have been. That was why she kept her dorm room extra toasty.

 

[Jonyna Si]

Jonyna had made a habit of greeting new padawans at the temple. With everything going on, it was nice to keep a small part of her routine. Part of it was her own experience. She never got the chance to train in the temple, and she felt fortunate to see any new padawan enter. They were lucky, and she wanted them to feel welcome.

Then again, she also just needed to get Guffy out of the ship. The little rascal had taken to habit of tearing up the leather couch, so she felt she needed to get him out and about.

The little Racyon skittered ahead of the Cathar, as she approached the dorms. Suddenly the kit paused, before rushing off towards Corazona von Ascania

"GUFFY!" Jonyna yelled, rushing after him, blushing as the little guy ran right up to Cora's feet. "....sorry."

"Care package!" Then blinked as he looked to Jalen, who had done the same at the same time.

"I..." Jalen began with a frown, assessing the younger padawan. "What?"

He had already brought one. Had he not seen him? Jalen was pretty sure he was hard to miss. He didn't have functioning eyes, but he still knew he was tall enough to stand out in a crowd, let alone an empty hallway. He shook his head as the new padawan exited, presenting her the bag.

"Brought a care package from the Temple," he noted. "Helps new folks settle in. I... don't know where everybody else came from... Anyways, I'm Jalen. It's a pleasure to-"

"GUFFY!" Jonyna yelled, rushing after him, blushing as the little guy ran right up to Cora's feet. "....sorry."

Jalen let out a long sigh. Abrupt chaos.

He could never escape it, could he?

 

[Aris Noble]

Aris just cleared his throat.

He wasn't going to live this down, so, he just decided not to think on it any longer. There was likely a double booking for care packages, but this wasn't a bad thing, was it? Hopefully it meant that the new girl would actually feel welcomed here with the others. Though, okay maybe there were suddenly a lot more people than he expected. Aris took a step back at the addition of even a pet, glancing to his sister.

".. At least we're not the only people here?"

[Corazona von Ascania]

"GUFFY!" Jonyna yelled, rushing after him, blushing as the little guy ran right up to Cora's feet. "....sorry."

"Wha-"

Cora wobbled, steadied herself, then peered down at the little racyon pawing at her feet. "Oh," she said. "Oh?" she repeated as a familiar face followed soon after.

"Oh. No worries, Jonyna. I trust that this little one has been behaving himself?"

Leaning down carefully so as to not displace her tomes, she offered the Guffy a scratch behind the ears. When she straightened out, Aris had appeared next to Jalen with an identical care package.

"Ah, now there are two of them."

Turning toward the Cathar, she gestured with her chin towards the door that peeked open. With three Padawans there, she didn't want to crowd whoever was inside.

"Should we go and say hello?"

There seemed to be some chaos in the hall, mostly being caused by a furry little creature that Casi had never seen before. It was adorable though and her eyes peeked over at it, and then back to the two boys standing in front of her door holding packages, and the one girl.

"Oh... umm... thank you."

She felt herself blush and mentally kicked herself. A boy was talking to her! And a cool girl with a backpack! If she just didn't say anything stupid maybe she wouldn't look like a total reject.

Her golden eyes traveled back to the furry creature.

"What... what is that?"

Ugh so much for that! But Casi couldn't help it. She had lived on Chalacta her whole life and this was only the third planet she had ever visited.

[Braze]

Braze was curious. He could sense some one new was here. He had seen her earlier in the day when she arrived. She was a blonde girl too. He took note of her and shied away from her path initially. She reminded him of some one he knew. He wanted to learn more about her before introducing himself so he did not approach her earlier that day. He could pick up on the energy of others wanting to greet the new comer but he remained at a distance for now and chose to bide his time and learn a little bit more about the new girl as a little test of his own.​

 

[Konrad Montrose]

Entertaining himself with a cheerful hum, Konrad opted to take the long route back to his dorm. There was less chance he would be stopped or questioned about his whereabouts during his scheduled classes. As he passed by a hallway, he suddenly halted in his tracks, than backed up slightly. His attention was captured by a gathering of people outside what appeared to be a dorm room.

Pausing for a moment, he debated whether to investigate the chaos. The adventurous side of him took over, prompting his body to move down the hallway discreetly, so as not to draw attention to himself.
