Allya stood dressed up in a cute, colorful outfit in the middle of a park on Alderaan. She admitted, to herself it didn't look quite right. But she knew it was caused by her tritanopia, and endless worry about the day. Shew had invited Jerek to this spot, but hadn't told him why. Maybe she should have, given him some hint, but instead, she just carried a small bag along with her, and leaned on the railing of the stone bridge. In the park, it crossed a bubbling stream, it was filled with pebbles and cute little fish. Honestly, she loved animals. They were so cute. The teen rested her chin on the railing, and looked out at the setting star, as it cascaded its rays across the grass and flowers. The planet was beautiful, inspiring. It had a history of conflict and peace. It made it a perfect place for what she was about to do.

The girl fidgeted nervously, as she reached into her bag and pulled out a long rectangular box and placed it on the railing next to her head. As she waited for her lover to appear, her mind went through everything that had happened to her in recent times. She had only been exposed to the public about nine months ago. She quickly proved herself as a commando, and as a Sith. She stood at her father's side, and honestly, learned how to function more openly. She designed ships and weapons, armor, droids, all while participating in invasions, and battles. Allya liked to think she had proved herself to most of those who doubted her originally.

However, that was the tip of the iceberg, and perhaps the most unimportant part. Before she had come onto the galactic stage, she had undergone intensive Sith training. It had nearly broken her with the pain and despair of it all, and then all that responsibility that came from being Metus' child had almost crushed her. She created Vexia to protect herself. Strong, courageous, powerful, always capable. One day, she felt she would be Darth Vexia, and lead the armies of the CIS with a strong, dark, but fair hand. A Sith was her destiny, like her father before her.

But then she had met Jerek. Jerek made her fall head over heels for him, and showed her that love didn't need to be painful, and that she never needed to be anyone but herself. He gave her confidence, and with each word and touch allowed Allya to come out, to feel safe and wanted. Important. He had protected her, he stood in front of her when danger was there. She had never had that, even her father had pushed her towards danger so she could learn to overcome it. He had given her a strength she had never known she possessed. She didn't NEED Vexia anymore. Allya was enough.

She had run away from traditional Sith trainers after this. How could a Sith like Uncle Adron, or Uncle Tacitus understand? She didn't want to cause fear, or pain, she didn't think peace was a lie. It would be hard, almost impossible to achieve and would take darkness and light together to do it, but it could be done. Sort of. And that is when she met [member="Voph"] ! He was incredible! So powerful, so strong, so noble. As much as he thought of himself as an evil bastard, she saw his heart, how it hurt and ached, like hers did. He was so much like she was, and yet so much stronger. She knew then, that she could have it all. The strength to protect, the heart for protecting people, and never have to surrender her ideals, and beliefs, no matter what they were.

Voph became her master, and had taught her so much in such a short time. So many strange adventures. She could rely on him, and she hoped he knew he could rely on her. They could be dark and evil! But they could also just be dark and moody, or edgy, or just kind to old ladies while wearing edge lord clothing....or even good. Together, she hoped he never felt like he had to be something he wasn't, just like he made her feel like she never had to be different either.

Then Asa and [member="John Locke"] ! Oh, how do you explain people you look up to so much? A Jedi Knight, beautiful beyond belief, and strong, a natural telekinesis user like she was. Asa understood the call of darkness, but resisted it. And John was one of her heroes where technology was involved. He had seen her various work and offered her a job! For the first time in forever, Allya was working on projects that had the potential to help millions rather than kill millions! Trees that could help industrial devastated worlds recover, medicine to cure diseases, new surgical equipment more advanced than anything before it. She worked on it all!

But with all this came back to the source, the start of it all: Jerek. He had given her the strength to do all this. And the strength to choose her own destiny. However, above all this, one thing was clear. She had to do this. Allya took in a deep breath and rested her eyes on the beautiful scenery once more, attempting to stop the butterflies in her stomach.

Jerek, come soon, I don't know if I have the nerve for this!

She was standing in the middle of the bridge. The stonework arched over the running water below, painting the scene in a serene light. It was cozy, despite its exposure to the rest of the park it was an odd place for private intimacy, being on display to so many others. But Jerek had felt far less stress over sharing intimate moments with [member="Allya Vi'Dreya"] in public lately, a comfort that came with a growing familiarity with his girlfriend. Whatever she had cause to summon him to her today, the boy welcomed eagerly as he walked quickly down the trail toward the stream.

Alderaan itself seemed to put him at ease, even if the ultimate destination was not to be alongside Allya. The park was only the more elaborate displays of conservation that the entire planet seemed to employ as a rule. The padawan's connection to the Force had never been difficult, but here on Alderaan it seemed to be easier to touch than in most places. The planet flourished, its ecosystem thriving as Humans and denizens of other species lived alongside flora and fauna, cultivated and wild alike, and the Force was strong here. It let Jerek easily submerse, drawing on the connection both as a source of energy and information.

He could feel the people around him as they moved through the park, unaware of how they interacted with energies of others, beings and creatures and plants, through the Force. Another day, he might have taken the time to meditate here, to let those interactions inspire other revelations hidden deep inside his mind or the Force itself. Today, however, the padawan sought out the energies of his girlfriend. Stood upon the stone bridge, waiting for him. He could feel her pent up passion, held at the brim just shy of spilling over. That was typical for Allya, but today it felt different. Changed.

Since Jerek had known Allya, she had been a creature of emotions and passion, an aspect he adored in her. The boy rarely found himself as swayed by emotion as others, so in some respects Allya was a fun person to study. In others, however, Allya offered the insight into a perspective that Jerek often dismissed, and seeing her respond in big ways to little actions was such a delight. And while those were the positives of her emotions, Allya's upbringing had bred negatives as well. Her passion could come unbridled, her emotions unrestrained, and the teachings of her Sith family had funneled those energies into a weapon they could use. That realization had alarmed Jerek when he had first met her, it had kept him cautious and ready to offer restraint at any moment.

In Allya today, however, Jerek felt something he had only glimpsed at before. He couldn't be sure of what it was, but it was different. Unconsciously, he relaxed his caution, and it even took him a moment to realize that he had. While he was uncertain of what had put him so at ease, the boy reveled in the lightness that came with the feeling, as if it accompanied the lifting of a burden. Any continued worry for Allya felt artificial, felt wrong, so Jerek simply stopped. Whatever he suddenly realized today, whatever the Force was telling him, he decided to trust it.

The boy found himself almost skipping as he approached the girl on the bridge, calling out to her ahead of time, "Hey, babe!" A moment later he was in her arms, or she was in his, the distinction didn't really matter. Jerek took her cheek in his hand as he leaned in to kiss her, and when he drew back his hand busied itself by brushing an errant lock of hair out of his girlfriend's face. "This is such a beautiful spot, Allya. Is that why you asked me to meet you here?"

When they had first met, Allya had considered herself a weapon. She was a girl, true, but something raised to kill, to be used against enemies, to protect just the people of the CIS. Affection had been rare, and had come mostly when she stood out, when she overcame whatever obstacles stood in her way. She had been able to fake it, to be happy and cheerful. But the seemingly endless year long torture sessions had made her a small little ball of spite. She both loved and hated her family. She respected them, and their power, their dreams, but hated their existence. How many nights had she craved to just end them....or maybe to just end herself? The pain had to stop somewhere right?

But then in waltzed this fly boy Jedi and everything had changed. He had never asked her to change, no matter how much he wanted to, he never stabbed her in the back, or betrayed her. The Jedi ended up loving her with reckless abandon, regardless of the fact she had been a weapon. In time, his light burned away that spite. What did she care about the pain of the past? It had brought her into his arms. Every pain, every hatred, every anger, every time she had nearly given up, it brought her to this moment, there on the bridge, and it was worth it all.

As he walked up, her heart skipped a beat, and she openly stared. As he called out to her she blushed deeply, before she took a quick inhale of breath. Lips found lips, arms wrapped around each other, and the world was right, and perfect in a way she could never have even dreamed of before. Sure the light was still bright, it could still hurt, but it could also be so gentle, so amazing. Her lips continued to brush against his in a passionate display. She didn't care if anyone else watched.

Finally she pulled away, licked her lips, and grinned. “Su'cuy, Cyar'ika!” For a brief moment the girl rested her head on the chest of her beloved. Eyes fluttered closed and she sighed happily. “Yeah, well, there are many reasons. It's complicated, but, it will make sense in a little bit here. Um, I know it's my birthday BUT, um, I got YOU something. It's really important, so please, open it?” She pulled away quite reluctantly, and picked up the box from the railing. Allya twirled in a half pirouette as she handed the unwrapped rectangular cardboard box to him. “I promise, you'll like it! Okay?” Her eyes held this little mischievous look in them, that twinkled in the light. The world was full of life, and the park was too. Her heart raced nervously though. This was hard, far harder than anything she had ever done, and she felt like at any moment she could reach out and grab the box, and run off to forget the whole thing. It was a Sith's weapon. It's not like the whispering had stopped yet. But she didn't. She wanted this, it was what was right for her.
