SPECIAL FEATURES
- The helmet is equipped with both lightsaber-resistant material, as well as gadgets to keep her alive and aware of her surroundings. It is furthermore also equipped with a holocomm to provide for easy communication with other parties.
- The rest of the armour is equipped with materials capable of resisting lightsabers and blaster-bolts, providing proper armour in a battlefield.
- All of this information is expanded on in the strengths and weaknesses.
STRENGTHS
- Lightsaber and blaster-resistant: With most of the armour made of Phrik, Armour-weave and parts cortosis-weave, the armour is like a tank against all energy-related strikes.
- Lightweight: The armour is composed of many different pieces, and light-weighted materials. Allowing its wearer to move at the same speeds without being weighed down by their armour.
- Battlefield awareness: With the electrobinoculars, holocomm, HUD, and a sensor disruptor, the wearer can easily access information about their surroundings and orient themselves on battlefields and unknown terrain all the same.
WEAKNESSES
- Costly: Because of expensive materials such as Karlini Silk and Phrik, as well as cortosis-weave, should the armour be damaged, the repairs will be both difficult and very expensive.
- Less resistant: While the armour is excellent against blasters and lightsabers, it fails to hold up against radiation damage, sonic damage and less so against thermal damage. Meaning its wearer can still be easily attacked using such weaponry.
- EMP: Due to the gadgets in her helmet and vambrace, a well-aimed EMP will still cause them to short out or stop working entirely.
DESCRIPTION
Isobel had always been fascinated by the Jedi Knights of old, the ones from the tales and specifically the ones known as the 'Luminous Nine'. Therefore she knew quickly what her (first) Jedi armour must be like, and while the idea had been solely hers, the armour itself had been forged by
In the Spore Industries lab on Brosi, he shoved the old schematics aside and rebuilt them with the instincts of one who had fought two wars under Sith Order banners. The fragile alloys were stripped out and replaced with phrik plating and gammaplast reinforcement, armor meant to handle the onslaught of a battlefield. Beneath it all, he laid Karlini silk and armourweave, light and breathable but strong enough to keep the body moving through heat, cold, and exhaustion; it was a quiet nod to her Nabooan roots, since the silk had long been imported there.
With such an elaborate present at the ready, the question remained how to gift it to Isobel--with her unaware of his Sith identity and the Spore Industries. So on an early morning a Nabooan florist arrived with the crate balanced on a hovercart, blossoms tucked into the straps as if the flowers could disguise the weight. She smiled a little too brightly, the kind of smile often bought with a heap of credits, and recited the line she'd been given: "Commission, m'lady. Finest phrik in the galaxy, Karlini silk.. very Nabooan, yes." While eyed with suspicion by both guard and the young Lady Serraris, the gift was eventually opened and the armour, in all its glory, revealed.
Alongside a note: "You and your Jedi tales. At the cafe you spoke of the Nine. This isn't their relic, but it'll keep you standing, and keep you pure in the way that matters. Don't test it too soon." - L.
