Staff Is the emoji reaction harassment still happening

I've yet to ban anyone over it, I haven't seen any bans happen over it, and I really want to do it. It's basically the only chill point I got from the whole "totally real drama threads"/town hall situation. I refuse to lose another favorite emote of mine so we're just gonna remove the source of the issue rather than the emote itself.

If everyone backed off because the message got received prior to any bans happening, thats 1) a first and 2) great news.

If you want an unbiased and true answer from someone that a) observes a shit ton and b) sees the bigger picture from outside in now - if you wanna ban anyone, then that'll be the majority of the site at this point. Just based on what people tell me (yes, I basically left the site in all but account) the passive aggressive stuff hasn't stopped, it just retreated into more clandestine maneuvers.

My advice would be look at your long term writers and how many are left of those in terms of activity. That'll be your tell of what the situation is in terms of thoughts. Problem isn't emoji reacts (despite the reacts on your post here). It runs deeper and closer to home

no, the problem is quite literally people posting emoji reacts to harass people, and all this post is focused on lmao

we're not trying to cure cancer, okay, please hold the advice from the rafters on how to fix humanity. I'm quite literally only laser focused on ensuring this is a done deal and the SWRP Staff Team's position is abundantly clear that 40 year old men with three children IRL going into private threads that don't concern them is cringe af if they try to demean someone else's writing by leaving a laugh react. This behavior isn't safe anymore, claims of stupidity, ignorance, or immaturity will be ignored.

I've seen the discord chats, it's not deep, it's not close to home, it literally is this straight forward, I know it happens, I know these losers share people's writing and laugh about it because they're losers, I just want these losers to know the spotlight is looking to shine on them if they ever get brave enough to cringe it up again.

I don't know if this is helpful to mention, since I've only been here since April, but I haven't personally experienced any of the above and I've been fairly active. Overall, most of the people I've interacted with here have been nothing but kind, passionate nerds.

It's very helpful to mention, and I'm glad you're having a good time here and chill times. The focus is supposed to be the roleplay, and if you see the Recent Threads, the vast majority of everything is just roleplay and people chilling.

Sometimes minor issues arise like "react trolling", and it's difficult for Staff to separate real issues from drama enjoyers only showing up to exacerbate or trying to manifest issues. So, I prefer blanket napalming, ie threads like this. It does distract from the roleplay, but only for a little bit, but it also conveys the message we're trying to get out there.

Also, it's a little bit of popcorn.
