I'll be honest, pirates ain't that big anymore. Last I checked I was the biggest pirate group active, and mine's a sub-faction of the Cartel. So yeah, we're basically the underworlds new jam [member="Kat'ra Smart"].

The Cartel is a sort of Umbrella organisation for various vile and dirty bussiness. Piracy, slavery, true love and spice dealing being some of our favourite occupations...
You are welcome to apply and act as a cartel contractor, a role meaning that you take jobs from the cartel but are free to conduct your own bussiness as long as they are not directly opposing hutt interests. If you get stuck and want to get more entangled in the future there are ways to rise in rank and make your character managing some part of the cartel.

For the record - Most members are non-hutts. Consider us a mafia family, the Hutts are the Dons but thats only the cream on top of the cake. mmm.... cake.....
