Is blood thicker?

Hakora stood in the fueling arena that was in the area of the Vitae Order. He knew the the Eldorai newcomer had issues with Hakora and his family due to their linage. There was many ways to go about this, but Hakora was made for combat and so he would use that to end this. There was no doubt in his mind which was the better fighter, but in your mind you could be a god.

Dalur

In time all foul things come forth
Dalur appeared rather soon, walking in his usual graceful manner whilst donned in his silver armor. It was more of a ceremonial suit, not forged directly for combat, but it was the most suitable thing he had for now. When the half-breed had challenged him to a duel, he had laughed for hours with his Eldorai brothers. They were confident Dalur would prevail, him having been a great leader in battle and a fierce warrior. Despite this though, he knew that Hakora was a trained Knight, and no doubt more skilled than Dalur when it came to Jedi techniques. Seemingly outmatched as he may be, he had one thing against Hakora; a deep hatred for him.

"Well, here we are. Destined to squabble like children over bad blood." The Eldorai smirked, unholstering his curved-hilt lightsaber and igniting it's blue blade to the side of him. "It's a good thing lightsaber's cauterize the wound... Wouldn't want your foul blood making a mess everywhere." His head tilted with a tone of pure malice as he assumed a makashi opening stance.

He was ready.

Hakora turned and saw the Eldorai enter. Hakora then removed his jedi robes until he only wore the pants, no need for added distractions. He nodded at the Eldorai's words, " Frankly your hatred for me means nothing to me, but my family is another matter. When a child misbehaves, they must be taught a lesson." Hakora took his two lightsabers and tossed them to the ground, he preferred not to wound him with a blade and even though he knew both Echani Combat and Eldorai, he could control the damage more effectively than with a weapon like a lightsaber. Hakora turned his body so his right side was facing Dalur making the target Dalur had to hit smaller. Hakora's right arm came out a little bit and rotated so his open palm was facing the ceiling, he ha no problem fights hand to lightsaber and was greatly looking forward to this. An Echani could learn so much from someone in combat. Before they began, however, the doors opened again and more people came in to watch invited by Hakora, these people included some of not all of Dalur's followers. "I hope you do not mind, fights such as these should never be done privately as these are meant to promote unity, not division." Some in the room were there in favour of Dalur and some for Hakora, but no matter the outcome the loser would have to prove themself after this and thus it would end the division. Hakora invited the leader [member="Vulpesen"] as well so that this would not be a petty fight, but a test of will.

"A Dramatic Force-Blessed Myth"
Vulpesen entered the room almost quickly after Dalur, his eyes gazing around the area. A trial by arms. Certainly called by Hakora, and to be honest, it disgusted him. There were other ways to resolve matters, ways that didn't include one side holding an extreme advantage. "Such fights as these are also tests of honor and should not give advantage to one side." He gave a small whistle and watched as five more guards walked in, each holding a frame on their back which would carry the one creature that could even out the field. Ysalimiri. He figured that five would be enough to cut off Hakora's connection t the force within the room. "You both will fight him with skill. Nothing more. Both may choose your weapons, neither of which will lead to the other dying." Was he a member of this duel? No, but he was the Valde and he'd be damned if he saw these two spill blood on his floors over a petty dispute.

Hakora sighed at Vulpesen's reaction assuming Vulps would trust Hakora's judgement by now. Hakora knew he could beat this person easily especially if he used the Force or a weapon so he had chosen not to as embarrassment was not Hakora's goal. Words would be a more professional response to this man's discrimination to Hakora and his family, but unlike Vulpesen, Hakora was Eldorai and knew their views on outsiders and that only a duel could bring unity. Hakora watched as the Valde brought in some creatures and he felt the Force that ran through his body as sure as his blood begin to leave which left only a small connection, only a whisper that he had it. Hakora knew even though the small connection left he had to do the honorable thing and not use it. This did not only disadvantage Hakora in the Force, but now he could not use Vaapad correctly so he was probably near equal grounds assuming this guy was bite as well as bark, but thi remained to be seen. An idea then came to Hakora's min on how to get rid of his connection to the Force to make sure his honor stayed in tact. Hakora reached out and in a muddled weak voice he spoke into Vulpesen's mind with only three words which was all he could manage, "trust my judgement." The last word trailed off into darkness as the Force left Hakora as if it was never there an it felt almost freeing.
