Feedback Invasions & Dominions: The Numbers

Because we've been talking about the net gain of invasions and dominions recently, here's a quick research.

I measured the word count (thanks plug-in) of the recent EE invasion of TSE as an invasion sample and the Bryn'adul dominion of Sleheyron as a dominion sample.

The numbers:

Invasion - 141,328 words | 12 pages | 14 days = 1 hex
Dominion - 11,026 words | 3 pages | 1 day = 1 hex

What's the similarity here? Both net you 1 hex. (Potentially in the case of the invasion)

The ratio: 12 to 1, roughly.

What does that mean? The same amount of words (effort) put into the invasion (141k) if put into dominions would gain the faction about 12 hexes on the map.

Simply said, 141,328 dominion words = 12 hexes

Absolutely bonkers tbh. Something definitely needs to be altered in the system. Ronan Vizsla still has the best suggestion as of yet.

Make hexes bigger, make dominions smaller, or some mix of the two. Give invasions some more weight without having to rebalance the entire system.
