I know we PMed (so this is more for other people's benefit) but the city is not the Objective, the Tree House is, which is where a bunch of Jedi are waiting. I've been tagged for days now but they've yet to engage at all.

:)

Yep yep, what [member="Corvus Raaf"] wrote.

I got confused by Kachirho city and Kachirho tree house sounding the same ad one being in another. Wookiees and cookies, grandma or snow, same thing for me :)

Are there any Jedi capable of battle meditation?

Vitium has used waves of darkness, and while Graxin is proficient, dropping down in the middle of an open field to combat it is more than a little suicidal.

A. Kachiro Tree Home
  • The One Sith Objective -- To secure Kachiro for occupation.
  • The Republic Objective -- goal is to defend Kachiro from occupation.
If the One Sith deliberately destroy Kachiro in its entirety then it is considered a One Sith loss.

If Kachiro and its bridges are in any way deliberately destroyed by Republic Forces then that is considered a One Sith Victory.

Normal damages incurred during fighting do not apply.

Kachirho was a coastal Wookiee city on Kashyyyk that became the site of the Battle of Kashyyyk during the Clone Wars.

Kachirho was located on the Wawaatt Archipelago on the Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyk.[2]

The city spiraled around the trunk of a 984-foot high wroshyr tree that sat in front of a large blue fresh-water lagoon. At the gates of the tree city, a carved archway read in Wookiee script -- Come in peace to our Home Tree Vikkilynn.

Kachiro had a city hall located up the beach from the water. Two piers and docks extended out into the archipelago.

As the home to the Claatuvac Guild, it was the Wookiee center of hyperspace mapping.

They are moving to occupy the city and start moving towards the tree as the final prize.

Meanwhile: Sol, sabena, Veino and I are fighting some sith.

This is the challenge of 'proper' development. I've been learning Battle Meditation on board the Jedi Praxeum with an IC teacher since I was first made Knight (over 2 years in game time) and it's a slow process if you do it right. But I need to make a judgement call soon as to how slow as it was started so long ago, I ought to have completed it by now! I mean I'm sure I left the ship, didn't i?

I'll have to check my conscience :)

Two years ICly is quite a bit of time if you're training a single ability, though battle meditation is extremely difficult to master.

I would think, at the very least, Corvus would be adept to proficient in the art at this point. That, of course, is entirely up to you.

I have minor defense against WOD with force barrier, but my soldiers do not. They'll be slaughtered in two to three posts without assistance.

I confirmed with the OS FAs earlier when talking about a separate subject. The tree home is the objective.

Yup! -- but one can't occupy a single tree in the city without ensuring the surrounding area is secure.

Basically -- in their posts they have been backing people up to the tree while they secure staging points along the rest of the city.

The more stable the beachheads are, the more they can do to occupy the actual tree in it of itself as the epic final charge.

It is so it can actually make sense rather than going gungho for one tree and leaving everything else open.

Force resistance works against the giant dark cloud and its mental effects, right?
waves of darkness was a dark side Force powerconjured through Sith magic that created visible, palpable waves of literal darkness, accompanied by a loud roaring sound. When exposed to waves of darkness, beings suffered from feelings of intense despair and confusion, before feeling compelled to flee the scene of the disturbance.

Waves of darkness were employed in battle by Sith sorcerers as a means of incapacitating the opposition. However, the debilitating effects of a darkness spell could be nullified by a Force-user skilled in the art of Jedi battle meditation.

Figures.

It's like the opposite of Veino's empathy, sending emotions outwards rather than Veino absorbing it inwards. I really need to find a way to broadcast that out instead of just absorbing.

Is the emotion coming more from outside or inside the individuals?
