Invasion Judgement Criteria Update

Following feedback from members we’ve been reviewing invasion rules and have made some minor tweaks to the rules.

We have slightly changed the wording of two of the Invasion judgement criteria as laid out below:

Teamwork. The amount of teamwork each faction exhibits over the course of the Invasion will contribute to victory, including its organization and cooperation with the faction's members. Does the Faction work well to execute its vision for the invasion whilst working positively with members of the opposing faction to provide entertaining roleplay. and how it executes its vision for the Invasion . This also includes members from opposing factions working with each other, rather than against each other, to provide entertaining role-play.

Story. Does it make sense? How exciting is it? Is the Faction trying to weave a purposeful story with their allies and opposition or put up points on a scoreboard? This should not include the reason for the Invasion, but rather the story that proceeds once the Invasion has begun and reacting to events as they unfold.

We want to make some things clear:
  • Judges have always been considering how proactive each side is in working with the opposition when determining the victor.
  • We understand that sometimes it isn't possible to find a writing partner in the opposition and this is also taken into account by judges.
  • These rules do not affect any Invasions in progress.
  • Invasion and Rebellion rules have been updated to reflect this change.

Staff: Invasions are snoozefests.

Writers: People aren't interacting because the rules don't require them to.

Tefka: You all suck equally, I can prove it mathmatically.

Admins: .....here's a slight change in the rules to address this.
