InVal - On A New Level (PM for Invite) (Business Reps)

Nyos had been saving up all of his wages as a Lt in the Protectorate Army. He used the money to open his own business. InVal Cybernetics was his pride and joy in the galaxy. He purchased all the necessary tools, equipment, droids, and his ship the Pheobus was to be InVal's flagship. He had his team from the Protectorate Army as his main staff. The droids were more for deliveries and maintenance. He was sitting in his new office, a large darkwood desk, holo-consoles running schematics, shipments, and labor were filling through info behind him and a long conference table and chairs sat at the opposite end of the office. He was to call a meeting of possible contractors and potential clients and employees for the future of the company.

With a cup of caff in hand, he punched in names of allies, friends and known friendlies of the Protectorate. Even a few that his military superiors might not agree with...Sending a blast message of an invite to join him on Moorja for the meeting.

Noah rubbed his eyes to try and stay awake as he walked into Nyos's office, a cup of StarCaf in hand in case the rubbing didn't keep him awake. "Nyos, good to see you again bro. How's that sword I made for you doing?" Noah asked as he took a sip from his cup to keep him awake as he sat down at the conference table. "So, any projects that your working on that you need help with?"

HK was the second person to come in into the meeting room, he did not had his usual body guards with him, as he trusted the company arranged for this meeting, but he did had his usual armor and weaponry with him, just for the consistency's sake.

Val was an old friend of his, and one that helped him often, and the droid was not going to forget it any time soon. So, when Val called him in for help, the droid answered and promised to arrive.

And so,
with the clanging of his metal feet HK would cross the threshold of doors as they mechanically opened, giving a nod to Noah and then to Val,
"Gentlemen, I hope you are well. Val, glad to see you got out from that rescue mission I sent you for on Aeten 2 alright."
The droid was of course referring to the distress call the Mandalorians sent when Aedan Miles was wounded and they required presence of a medic and specialist in cybernetics. Knowing that Val was expert in both, he assigned him to the mission.

Nyos stood behind his desk, caf in hand, smile on his face, something seldom seen.

Noah, HK, welcome, I am doing fine, the sword couldn't have been made any better, it's on the wall over there, he gestured to a rack hung on the wall displaying his pride and joy.

I've asked you both here, and a select few others for the possibility of becoming partners or even creating a coalition of companies. InVal Cybernetics wants to grow through the OP and I want to push it as far as I can, but being as small as I am, I will need the help of my friends.

Gilamar Skirata

The most important step is always the next one
Sitting on the side of the meeting room Gilamar nodded. A cybernetics firm was something interesting to get involved with, though he wasn't sure yet if he would commit anything to the endeavor. He had a war to fight and now was not the time to be playing CEO, but he would listen, if not to please his share holders.

Former Exarch Siobhan Kerrigan, now Vice President of Firemane Industries, was fashionably late. Silaqui had been quite adamant that such a thing existed and was expected of aristos. It was a shame that she had been murdered, Siobhan had liked her. Say what you want about the dead Queen, she had given the best parties.

So around this time Siobhan entered the meeting room, finding already a full house. She was impeccably dressed in an elegant black women's business suit, her lightsabre dangling at her side. Aside from it she carried no weapons, it was supposed to be a business meeting and if something happened she could just tear the building apart and fly out.

"Gentlemen," she said as she walked in and took a seat, crossing her legs. HK got a smile, the Mandalore a respectful nod before she focused upon Nyos. "I've looked into your company, Lieutenant. Its goal is laudable. I would not be walking without the advances science has made in artificial limbs. What precisely is the sort of partnership you're proposing and what benefits are we talking for the companies that help you get your firm off ground?"

I propose that your companies back mine, in return I will use what you give me to increase the number of products, and advance the technology of existing products. I will also offer discounts up to 65% off cost when bought in bulk. For you Siobhan, free. And for the Mandalorians, I will provide exclusive products for your warriors. HK, your Iron Knights would have access to enhancements and Noah, I would repair and replace any part of your soldiers of the Protectorate Army. Simply put, I'm asking for financial back so I may pay you back in exclusive rights to my product.

Nyos walked around to the conference table and pulled up a hologram of the production number which were growing.

Aedan Miles walked in rather late his hair flowing down his back as he stopped at the door way taking in those present the young man narrowed his eyes as the big names started to click. "Nyos my friend what can I do for you it seems you have gather a rather... Impressive crowd of business owners. Then there is me. That only brings to question one thing why am I here again?" Aedan calmly strode forward to sit away from the others at the table as had become his habit when dealing with people who held more power then him. Siobhan listened to Nyos speak as he outlined his proposal, then her eyes turned to the hologram of the production numbers before focusing on him again. "I see. I can support that proposal, but I'd like to extent an offer beyond that. Firemane Industries would be interested in making your company a subsidiary and provide the necessary financial backing to help you expand. We're a strong and quickly rising company, affiliation with us would give you the needed capital and name recognition, allowing you to expand your operations and products faster. We would want 51% ownership in your company."

Firemane was fairly young but had established itself on the market and shown great potential for growth, not just as a weapons manufacturer, but also for PMC work and through engaging in mining operations on Kaeshana, Dahomey and Vandelhelm. It had secured profitable deals with companies such as Salacia Consolidated, Akure Executive Leatherworks and Tenloss - the CEO of the latter was now the Republic's chancellor - and corporate giant Silk Holdings. Likewise it had done business with the Mandalorian Clans and the Moross Crusade, in the latter case being hired to fight the Horde, while the former had been supplied with tanks, bolters and other weapons. Likewise it moving into creating battle ships for the defence of Kaeshana and export to clients.

Since its bosses hated Sith and it operated strongly in Protectorate space, there was little chance of an ideological clash of some sort between InVal and Firemane. It had also agreed to supply the Republic with arms in their war against the Sith. Siobhan still handled most of the important mercenary contracts in person. For instance, she had been part of the international team of force masters that killed the Lotek'k, the Terror from Beyond, which was this Galaxy's version of Cthulhu.

Noah heard Siobhan giving her pitch and then smiled. "I'll give you another option Nyos, become a subsidiary of Hekler'Kok, You'll get eighty percent ownership while we get twenty percent. Hekler'Kok might not be a big or pompous as Firemane, but I've recently signed a contract to supply weapons to a faction within the Republic, the contract is worth two and a half billion credits." Hekler'Kok was almost as successful or just as successful as Firemane, having supplied the now defunct Mnenchei dominion with weapons, producing a specialized mass produced rifle for the Republic, becoming a supplier of starship weapons for Silk Holdings, supplying the Republic with arms, armor and vehicles for their upcoming war and was even in the process of making a deal with Kuat Drive Yards for buying three of their Carden-class space stations and the rights to produce some of their ships under license.

Being a somewhat known gatherer of intel, Damien was alerted to a meeting involving InVal, a company he had kept an eye on for a while. He chose this time as best to send a droid emissary for JAC, along with a few awesome comments.

"Nyos Val, leader of a great Cybernetics company." The droid said, voice neutral yet digitized, "I come from James Armor Companies, acting as Emissary in regards of a mutual alliance. In the midst of the companies employ, is what very well may be the last living Czar warrior. Now, with this information in mind, I seek to align our companies with the intent of furthering Cybernetics everywhere. Using what you know, combined with our own cybernetic manipulations, we could craft warriors so devastating, it could end all wars.

To sweeten an already impeccable deal, we also offer whole ownership of your company. While being a legal subsidiary, you will also maintain singular livelihood. Through this as well, yourself and your people, will gain a monumental discount for whatever resources you require.

All we of JAC ask, is an annual payment, which may indeed consist of prototypes or the like. If this sounds appealing, feel free to contact us.

Also, any of the Omega Protectorate, consider this an invitation to create an alliance with a well known arms company." With his speech complete, the droid turned and left the building.

HK gave a nod to Mandalore Skirate, Aedan, and of course, his Wonder-Twin Kerrigan, as he noticed them on the scene.
As others begun to speak up, offering deals to Val, including becoming their subsidiary, he kept silent, waiting for his turn to speak. Kerrigan made her offer, and then Noah, the droid didn't really liked the way he referred to Firemane as 'pompous' they were in company of trusted companions, mostly, softer words could have been used.
HK was about to comment when the droid emissary spoke. There was something about the message that ticked the droid off and he had half a mind to grab the trinket and stun it with electroglove of his. Czars were enemies of the Protectorate, they served the fallen Galactic Imperium in harassing the Protectorate and Galaxy, and now wanted for Protectorate-born Company to pay him tributes? Yeah, HK felt uneasy about the machine-courier's presence, but they do say 'Do not shoot the messenger' so, when HK finally had a chance to speak, he did.

"Well, first of all, let us try to avoid using words like 'pompous', Colonel Corek, let us remember that Ever-Colonel Kerrigan is a veteran like us, we all served in the same war, we have taken responsibility of the same seat of Colonel, and she has been an Exarch. While I by no means say that she is a saint, softer words could be used to describe her company."
He would look from Noah to Kerrigan,
"Like, 'hard-headed', 'rather stubborn', 'keeps loosing limbs even though beskar armor', or 'Na-na-na-boo-boo, I am better than you, stick your head in doo-doo'."
The droid quipped to Kerrigan, looking to Mandalore Skirata,
"Lord Mandalore, by no means take my words to heart, it is merely jesting between Companions-at-Arms and a show of humor a droid can develop without memory wipes since the ages of Mandalore the Ultimate."
He gave the Mandalore a nod of respect.

Looking over to Val, the droid continued to speak,
"Val, I know your expertise in cybernetics, and it is not a field you have much major competition, as far as I know. You can trust on Abregado's help as your equals, friends and allies, I do not ask for you to pay me tributes nor royalties, I invite you to create technology with me, my expertise in warfare and droid-works with your knowledge of cybernetics, we can create great things and then share the design, so that we both can use it as we like. I also have to disagree with Ex-Exarch Kerrigan, Colonel Corek, and the representative of James Armor Companies"
The machine glanced to them,
"I do not think you should become a subsidiary, you could potentially raise in market rather quickly, and then status of a subsidiary can be potentially crippling to you. However if you decide to take them on their offer, I vouch for both the Firemane and Hekler'Kok, and here is my reasoning."
HK looked back to Val,
"The said Czars have begun to die out for a reason, they were a wrong bet, not all prototypes end in success. They also faced off against the Protectorate and backed our enemies. And our enemies are not the just and righteous. They are Sith, bullies, renegades, do not pledge yourself as servant and vassal to shady weapon-manufacturers when you can choose from the people you trust, those you have fought side-by-side, those you know. Those who are not afraid to show in person for such a meeting instead of sending a droid courier to speak for them."
The droid looked in the direction the machine left, before looking back to Val,
"It is true that the Firemane is raising quickly, they are ambitious, and they have such inventions as the Bolt-Guns to support their position in the market. But they are still young, like you they are carving out their position on the market. The Hekler'Kok is an older company, much better established, but I would not describe their business as stellar, I believe they made a choice of supplying a faction that failed in the end, and a failing faction does not always speak well for a manufacturer supplying them."
HK looked to Noah,
"Although they have long-standing contract with the Protectorate, and a recent one with a faction within the Republic. It is still very much possible for them to come back and create great business on the Galactic Market."

Looking back to Val, the droid would wrap up,
"So it is your choice, Val, as it seems right now, between the Rising Maverick Firemane and the Old Veteran Hekler'Kok."

Nyos sat down and typed a few keys into the console on the table, a holo-screen popped up and the droid from before could be seen departing the front entrance. As the droid made for the space port, a taxi came by, careened and smashed the droid then drove off. Satisfied, Nyos closed the screen.

That's my answer Czar...Now to al of your proposals, Lady Kerrigan, while tempting and profitable, I cannot allow such ownership over my company. I would still wish to set up trade between companies, being two up-and-comings, trade would see us both rise as each grew in the Market.

Noah, I understand your contract with the minor Republic faction will bring you to wealth, I do not see them surviving...prosperously with the One Sith and the New Orders returns to the galaxy. But as I made the offer to Lady Kerrigan, so shall I extend such an offer to you, Trade, pure and simple. We can develope unique equipment and weapons with the aid of the other.

My robotic friend, you have been with me from the start, my career in the OP began with the Sith Invasion of Mandalore, turning Mandalore Skirata the Bold, as I am sure you remember was a building block to the OP and Mandalorian relationship we have now. Allies in a galaxy full of enemies. I extend the same offer to each and every one of you. I am in control of MY company, but you are all friends, born in the battlefield, I would seek to maintain the lives of all of those under your commands, My command extends no further than the walls of this building but every single man and woman in this company are my family and I treat my allies as family.

And that brings me to you Aedan...One you are my most recent patient, two you are a friend to the Protectorate, coming to our aid and three. I aim to make you the, well for lack of a better word, Poster Child for InVal. As long as you aid my company, you will never have to pay for repairs or , Force forbids, replacements again.

Like in my first offer, I will give discounts on my products, in return I ask for the rights to trade and a small discount as well. If you take the offer now, I will throw in one free shipment of your choice. I am in the works for developing a small weapons line and increasing my Cybernetics division. Take your pick of what I have down on the warehouse floor and I will draw up trade agreements for all of us to sign.

He anticipated a few to agree to the deal so he quickly drew up some simple documents and transferred them to his holo-pad. He moved to the door to show the group around the warehouse.

Siobhan dismissed Corek and his childishness, paying him no mind. He and his company seemed to have a strange fixation with archaic, personal slugthrowers long out of date. Firemane was headed by Tegaea, as in the former CEO, Exarch and Lady Protector, without her leadership, courage and resolve Omega would never have risen to become a power. As for herself, the woman who had conquered most of Omega's territory, crushed the Bando Gora and beaten Sith Lords had earned the right to be prideful.

As for the offer to become a subsidiary she had not really expected Nyos to agree to it, though it had been a well-meant offer. Regardless, if his firm went off ground Firemane could benefit from being provided with high-quality cybernetics for its PMC division on a discount. After all, they did see plenty of combat these days. Contrary to what HK said, it had been a long time since she had lost any limbs though!

"I understand and respect your choice. In that case on behalf of CEO Alcori I can say that Firemane accepts and looks forward on those terms and looks forward to a mutually beneficial business relationship. In return for discounts we'll give you access to resources" she said smoothly.

Aedan blinked a few times leveling a calm gaze on Nyos. "You are saying you want me to be the poster child for your company? Are you sure that is a good idea after all I am not necessarily the best choice. If you are sure about this then I suppose I can accept doing that for you and yes lets hope I don't need any other replacements." Aedan glanced slowly around the gathered people most of them owners of large companies and most of them FAR outpacing the young man in terms of other abilities.

'BLEEP BLOOP' the holoprojector of M1-A8 Ordo's personal Astromech assistant sounded as it went active. The crackling image of Ordo in full Beskar holding a Mini gun in one hand and the other on the side of his helmet.

"I UH...I'M SORRY I COULDN'T MAKE IT!" he yelled over the sound of artillery fire and blaster bolts. A slug pinged of his arm and he looked around briefly then shrugged before continuing.

"MandalTech will offer limited backing and use of facilities...'PING PING PING' SUNNUVA!" Ordo turned and opened fire breifly spraying with the Mini-gun at an unseen attacker, "SORRY ABOUT THAT PEOPLE ARE RUDE. ANYWAY...SEND ME A CONTRACT AND I'LL LOOK IT OVER." he turned away, "NOLAN GET AWAY FROM MY WAR DROID SHE'S PICKY." he turned back "SORRY JUST SEND THE INFO WITH 'MATIE' MY ASTROMECH AND TELL GIL AND SIO TO SQUEEZE IT EASY. ORDO OUT."

The image winked out and the astromech rolled over to Aedan for it's ride home.

Nyos took in the astromech and its message from [member="Ordo"] who seemed to have his hands full. He took a copy of the contract he'd drawn up previously and ejected a holo-record USB-thingy and gave it to the astromech.

Turning to Aedan, Yes exactly that, your arm was the newest product to come off the line. Having that, and the full backing of my company for repairs and replacements, you will be the face of my company, seeing as mine is well, he pointed to the cyber-optic and scars on his face, You will also be paid for any promotions or sales you make, a commission. Nyos continued with the group and slid the datapad onto the table for them to sign the trade contracts and to get this company out in the galaxy.

Noah shrugged and stood, not paying any mind to Kerrigan and her hard-headedness, which Noah wasn't even sure was a actual word. Though she would find that Hekler'Kok was shifting away from archaic powder and shell slugthrowers and moving on to more modern pulse powered slugthrowers. But onward from petty arguments. "Well, that deal sounds good enough." Noah stated as he reached and grabbed the datapad and signed it and then put it back onto the middle of the table so everyone else could sign it.

Siobhan suppressed a chuckle at Ordo's display. She had rather liked the Mandalorian. Actually, Mandalorians tended to be cool people! Besides, he had made a cool suit of armour for her.

Regardless she took the proferred datapad and, after reading through the conditions of the agreement again, signed it before putting it back into the middle of the table. She would have reason to...celebrate once she got back home to Kaeshana.

Aedan sighs and holds his hand up using a slight tug with his force powers he drew the data pad to himself looking it over before he calmly signed it using the force to return it to its position. Glancing at the astromech beside him the young man was actually happy he hadn't brought R8 given the fact he was flying a starfighter. Looking around he leaned back before he calmly asked "Are we done apparently me and this astromech here are headed in the same direction if I leave now I might be able to make it in time to join Ordo for some fun?" The young man glanced around those present before he chuckled lightly. "You know how to get ahold of me if you need me for anything Nyos. Ever Colonel Kerrigan, Grey Baron, Corek it was a pleasure seeing you three again we should get together to reminisce sometime I will send you a message once Clan Akaata is more stable invite you to our station sometime. Mand'alor you know where I will be but if you have need of my services all you need is but to call." Aedan's demeanor was slightly different from what it had been before while he had served with the Protectorate and then even more different form his escapades as a pirate.
